We accepted the limitations linked to Covid 19, having to wear a mask, following set routes which were somewhat tortuous, but what we noticed is how friendly all the staff were, making time to speak to us and doing every thing they could to help us.

This hotel is now too old and in need of refurbishment to be included as a "Novotel" The carpets are stained and threadbare , the paint, and in some areas (toilet/bathroom) the plaster, is peeling away. Breakfast was poor value too.

The hotel was very well organised for COVID. One-way systems, spacing and all viennoiseries packaged at breakfast for minimal touching. A good meal outdoors in the evening served by attentive and friendly staff. The only reason I am not giving a 10 rating is because the corridor carpets are quite badly stained and in need of replacement. However, other very negative opinions of this hotel that we have seen recently are, in our view, grossly unfair.

we often use the Novotel when we are on a road trip. overall we always had a good experience. spacious clean rooms and a good breakfast. Novotel in Amiens was something different . The hotel is in a realy shameful state of shape! the hotel looks like it has not been serviced for thirty years. everything is broken and dirty. carpet in the hallways and hotel rooms are covered with stains. it smells musty, stains on the walls. paint peeling everywhere. seldom have I seen a hotel that looks so bad. breakfast was also very disappointing and it looks like all the staff have given up hope. it is utterly embarrassing to call this a 4 star hotel. all in all a very bad experience! no more Novotel for us :-(

Hotel sale non entretenu

Bonjour Monsieur D., Merci pour votre retour. L'Hôtel à besoin d'une rénovation et cela sera le cas prochainement. Je me permets en revanche d'être surpris par la virulence de vos propos. Les chambres ne sont pas de dernière génération mais son très propres, nous y veillons au quotidien avec les équipes sur place. Notre restauration est sujette à d'excellents retours de la part de notre clientèle avec des plats faits maison. Si votre séjour ne vous a pas donné satisfaction je vous prie de recevoir mes excuses. - Not 4 star worthy. Hotel and rooms are in serious need for an update and repairs. - plaster coming of walls( toilet areas, terrace, swimming pool, etc). - Poor condition hurts experience and value for money feeling. - Restaurant lacks good vegetarian option. - would probably not book this hotel again.

Hotel good for a stop on your way to holiday. Basic but clean. Swimming pool and little playground for the kids. Breakfast not that much choice but ok.

We appreciated the helpful staff during these difficult times and were glad that the chef prepared us a meal for dinner as we requested a vegan meal. However it would be better if Novotel could have vegan options on the menu.

I arrived about 10pm after having to book only 30 minutes before having turned up at my original hotel to find it had no lift. I have limited mobility. I was greated in a friendly professional manner and a ground floor room close to reception had been reserved for me. The receptionist even found me an adaptor when I found I had mislaid mine. The room was huge and comfortable and I slept very well. I would strongly recommend this hotel - great value for money too.

"Non smoking" room smelt of cigarettes. Very basic room for a supposedly 4* hotel. Only room for one person at a time in the bathroom. Restaurant meal was very poor quality - beef tartare was cooked to oblivion. Breakfast ordinary. Location had nothing whatsoever to recommend it. In all, poor value for money. On the plus side - hotel staff were very nice.

Room needs updating. Bathroom facilities very poor. High sided bath to climb into for shower that is just a hand held shower with no power at all and a dirty old shower curtain. Separate toilet that was dirty with crack paint and chipped walls. Bar has no atmosphere and poorly decorated. Restaurant decor atrocious. Chairs uncomfortable. View into the Kitchen revealed rusting broken corner trim. Food ok. Service very slow.

Personel are very polite, but bedrooms and corridor to go to bedrooms are very old and not well maintened.
