Hotel was totally overpriced with 160€ per night. Hotel is old, however it was clean. We had no warm water the whole evening.

This was due to an unexpected technical issue: hot water was restored by the end of the evening, and the first 2 nights of your stay went smoothly. On the third night, a pipe unfortunately burst, which caused a temporary interruption. We fully understand that this may have been uncomfortable, and we sincerely apologize for the disruption. As a gesture of goodwill, a complimentary drink compensation was offered. Regarding the rate, the price was €151.30 per night, including breakfast. Rooms clean and tidy, plus comfy, air conditioning in our room stopped working but they quickly moved us and gave us complimentary drinks

The lack of a lift reflects poor standards and a feeling of senior management exploiting staff, as did the disrepair of the tiling of the patio/ poolside area. Inadequate air conditioning and not providing a walk-in shower or easily accessed bath were both disappointing. The provision of hair-drier and safe were erratic. Uncomfortable and inadequate seating in the bar area didn’t help. Bank holiday weekend staff seemed a bit demoralised too. We won’t be back.

Room was described as 'superior with modern decor, ergonomics and high-tech equipment: free wifi, pay TV, minibar and safe'. Instead we were given a very old uninviting room with missing bedside table, no minibar and a very tired bathroom'. Very poor quality of service and we are seeking a full refund.

Regarding the room description, we fully understand your concern. Certain historical room descriptions may still include amenities such as minibars. However, we would like to clarify that our group has updated its environmental policy: minibars are no longer systematically installed or replaced. Rooms that were previously equipped may retain them, but they are no longer part of the standard guaranteed facilities. We are also sorry to hear that the room did not meet your expectations in terms of comfort and condition.
