A 'tired' hotel

A disappointing overnight stay. The hotel looks tired and dated. The carpet in the room was stained. Floor tiles are cracked. The room is a good size, but has no air conditioning and was too warm. The restaurant was very disappointing. While we did not expect an extensive menu, you had run out of one of the main courses that we wanted (the last one was ordered by the only other couple in the restaurant when we sat down at 19.00). One of the main courses that we did order was different from the description on the menu - it was pleasant, but not what I had ordered. Overall, whilst the room was clean and provided the overnight stay that we needed, we have no incentive ever to return to Novotel.
