2nd Mercure hotel we stayed in this trip. Gteat staff, location, view and food. Breakfast is vast and hot foods are hot. Had dinner in hotel, faux gras id a must have. The room we had was excellent and to a high standard. Memorable stay.

Good central location. Clean room and comfortable beds. We did not have breakfast or eat at the hotel so cannot comment. Staff at reception were helpful except the fire alarm went off one morning and when we hurried down to reception we saw them still sitting, at the desk working. We therefore assumed it was a false alarm but no explanation was given. Along with other guests we went back to our rooms. As in most modern hotels there was nowhere to hang outdoor coats, annoying when it has been raining, no drawers to store small items and not enough hooks to hang towels in the bathroom.

We book two rooms, a privilege room and a standard room. Apart from a dressing rob, we notice no difference. Just book the standard room. Breakfast was good with lots of choice. Coffee was disappointing and the hotel seems under staffed. TV in the privilege room did not work and I had to ask 4 times at reception over a 6 hour period until someone decided to come and fix it. For the money, don’t book this hotel. Book an IBIS or Holiday INN they are cheaper and very similar in my opinion. At 400 euro a night…..you can get better.
