The room was comfortable, well presented and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good - fresh, good variety, good coffee. The air conditioning didn’t work so we were rather hot overnight - I think the staff are planning to address this after we mentioned it in the morning.

Booked on the day travelling up through France on the way to the UK for a short break. Clean quiet room with proper mugs and glasses and cold water in the fridge. Supper was wonderful and good value but slow given there were only five other people dining. Bar service was slow and gin and whisky poured without measurement and very small, also very expensive. Professional reception staff and good welcome.

This is a good hotel in a good location! The front desk staff is friendly and helpful (especially Sacha). Our room and beds were very comfortable and there was a small fridge in the room which is always useful. We had an ordinary room, not one of the upgraded rooms. We had a peak into one of those and it looked really nice though, we'll upgrade next time. The restaurant is somewhat short-staffed so breakfast items were quick to run out and slow to be replaced. We could see the staff were working hard though. We were unable to get dinner reservations despite only a few tables being filled due to lack of staff. Luckily, quite a few places deliver or you can walk to nearby restaurants instead. There was a great light show at the nearby Cathedral, but this is only during the winter holidays and in summer I think.
