We book two rooms, a privilege room and a standard room. Apart from a dressing rob, we notice no difference. Just book the standard room. Breakfast was good with lots of choice. Coffee was disappointing and the hotel seems under staffed. TV in the privilege room did not work and I had to ask 4 times at reception over a 6 hour period until someone decided to come and fix it. For the money, don’t book this hotel. Book an IBIS or Holiday INN they are cheaper and very similar in my opinion. At 400 euro a night…..you can get better.

A good hotel in a great location, ideal for the cathedral, town centre, old town (such as it is), Christmas Market and parks. The young lady who checked us in on the afternoon of Sunday 14th December was particularly good, very helpful and friendly throughout our stay. We were upgraded to a room with a balcony view of the beautiful cathedral, thank you very much. The room was a good size, excellent shower and very comfortable bed. There was a fridge, coffee machine and kettle in the room, tea and coffee but no milk. Unfortunately the air conditioning didn't appear to be working, regardless of the temperature setting it just pumped out hot air, this meant we had to sleep with the window open onto a noisy street but that's the price you pay for the view. There was a nice selection of hot and cold food at breakfast including fruit, cereals, pastries and sausages. Parking is in an underground car park a 2 minute walk away at €13 per day, we left our car here without issue. Amiens is a pleasant town, though the Christmas Market was disappointing, certainly not worth going out of your way to visit. If you're thinking of heading in this direction for a night or two at any time of the year I'd recommend Rouen (and the excellent Mercure hotel there) over Amiens. That said if you're staying in Amiens I'd definitely recommend this hotel.

Dear Guest, Thank you very much for taking the time to share such a detailed review and for choosing our hotel for your stay in Amiens. We are delighted to read your positive comments regarding our location, the comfort of your room, the quality of the bed and shower, as well as the beautiful view of the cathedral. We are especially pleased to hear that our colleague who welcomed you on Sunday afternoon made such a positive impression. Your kind words will be shared with her. Regarding the milk, we would like to inform you that it is available at the bar at any time. As part of our commitment to reducing plastic waste, we have chosen not to place individual milk pods in the rooms. Concerning the air conditioning, please note that our hotel is not equipped with air conditioning during the winter season. At this time of year, only the heating system is operational in the rooms, which explains the warm air you experienced. We understand that this may have caused some inconvenience and we thank you for your understanding. We are pleased that you enjoyed our breakfast selection, parking facilities, and the overall amenities of the hotel. Thank you as well for recommending our hotel to future guests — this means a great deal to us. We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you again on a future visit to Amiens. Kind regards, Matea The Front Desk

Great location.
