Very rude receptionist greeted us, have previously used an automatic check-in so not sure why there was a receptionist at all. Night was disrupted by the pompiers knocking down a door - no apology or explanation from the hotel staff,

Bed, Wifi, and location were fine. Shower was scolding hot (it burned just putting my hand under the shower). Breakfast was the most mediocre display I have ever seen. Not even worth the €4.50 Shared toilets were what you expect of shared toilets in a cheap hotel.

Very good price. Easy access to and from the motorway. Very good host. And very very clean. Only downfall when i arrived there was no small kitchen to make a cup of tea only vending machines which i dont like

Unable to access room on arrival at 12midnight and bo alternative available, manager unable to be contacted through red phone

We travelled as a family 2 adults and 3 children, booked 2 rooms and were unable to access one of the rooms on arrival at 12 midnight, we made contact via the red telephone where we were told they were trying to contact the manager and for us to continue to call back every 10 mins to ask if the manager was available we phoned on the red telephone 6 or 7 times in the time period up to 2am, each time being told the manager was not contactable. In the end our three children slept in the double bed and myself and my husband on the floor in the one room we were able to access. We were told the manager would be on site at 6.30am and we could talk to them about refunding the rooms. At 6.30am we were in reception, no one was about and the red telephone was just dialing the switch board in the reception with no option at all to speak to anyone. A manager arrived on site at 7am, she was unaware of our experience in the night and was apologetic, we were told the manager was away for 5 days but to email on his return to obtain the refund for both rooms due to the inconvenience and experience of staying at the hotel. The manager was also unable to access our second room with the code but could open the door with a key. Based on this experience I would not be recommending the hotel to anyone. The set up of having a manager on call out of hours who can then not be contacted is completely unacceptable. I will be following this up with the hotel to obtain the refund on both rooms and unfortunately not using the hotel chain again.
