A good location in the centre of town. We came for the Christmas market and it was right on our doorstep. The staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant was excellent and good value. The exterior of the hotel is very modern and a little bland. The interior has an awful lot of exposed concrete, even in out room. Ducts and pipes are visible on the ceiling everywhere. Bits of Jules Vern themed art on the walls did not relieve this industrial feel that I found rather unattractive, It is a shame as it let the hotel down, we kept joking that it would be nice when the construction was finally finished.

The hotel is well located for the centre. It was very expensive compared to other Ibis hotels we have stayed at. We don’t know why it is so expensive because we have stayed in many better Ibis hotels at much lower prices. We thought an Ibis Styles was supposed to be a better standard but it was very basic. The breakfast was awful. Really unacceptable. The coffee was ok but everything else was very poor - although there was not very much of anything. The worst breakfast we have ever seen at an Ibis. Very disappointed.
