Birthday celebration

Construction was annoying and lack of staff whom are having to cover much more than before but understandable given the current situation. Club lounge closed which was one of our favourite facilities and the gym needs refurbishment and better AC and humidity control.

Even though The hotel was not busy I was given a room at the only smoking floor in the hotel. The towels , the AC and the sheets were smelling cigarette. I don’t understand the reason for this lack of concern from the reception.

The hotel is generally good, and the staff were friendly and helpful. However, the rooms and facilities feel quite old and outdated and are in need of renovation. The ongoing construction work was also very noisy and disturbing during the stay. In addition, there is no spa available, which was disappointing. Renovating the property and improving the available facilities would significantly improve the overall guest experience.

We’d stayed at your hotel on 2 occasions, 2 years ago but sadly the experience this time was very disappointing. To find the hotel under refurbishment, which was not even advised to my travel agent in NZ. Roof top bar and pool closed, shuttle to Malls no longer exists and only 1 restaurant smoke free!! The worst experience was being told the night before we had an early check out to Rome, no water from midnight to 6am!! We were being collected at 5.30 am. No water for even washing hands, let alone flushing the toilet. No breakfast as too early even though we’d paid for it! I’m sorry we have contacted our NZ agent and we are returning on October 3 for 2 nights with a friend and now feel very disappointed that we’d recommended our friend to stay there also. Hopefully some monetary compensation will be offered to us for this experience.

The rooms were clean and in excellent condition, all the amenities were present in the room...overall very good

No one explained or conveyed the message that there is construction for renovation taking place. I came from a 13 hour flight, arrived at the hotel at 1am and requested not to be disturbed and they kept forcing breakfast promotion and I refused as I required sleep. As of 10am the drilling was unbearable and they forgot to mention that there is construction even at check in when I requested not to be disturbed by house keeping or calls. Pretty ridiculous and I will never return

This hotel has truly become my home away from home. As a loyal and frequent guest for many years, visiting two to three times a month, I can genuinely say that every stay continues to feel special. The hotel has transformed beautifully under the new management. The newly renovated rooms are absolutely stunning — elegant, sophisticated, and exceptionally tasteful. The new décor has brought such a refined and luxurious feel to the entire experience. What truly makes me return, however, is the exceptional hospitality. A very special thank you to the reception team, and especially Mary, who always makes me feel genuinely welcomed, valued, and exceptionally well taken care of. The team consistently goes above and beyond, from remembering my preferences to accommodating my requests and upgrades whenever availability allows. Whether I visit for a peaceful escape on my own or spend time here with my children, I always feel completely at ease. After so many years and countless stays, the level of care and personal attention remains exceptional. A beautiful hotel, an outstanding team, and a place I will always be happy to return to. Truly my second home. ❤️

I had a lovely stay and really enjoyed my time at the hotel. One of the highlights was having access to the Aviation Center next door, where we could use the gym, pool and spa, such a convenient and enjoyable addition to the stay. I stayed on a half-board basis and were very impressed with the restaurant. The food was absolutely lovely, and the half-board menu offered an excellent variety of choices. Overall, a very comfortable and enjoyable stay, and I would happily return.

Stayed for single night pre flight, on arrival greater by fantastic door staff who looked after my bags from my taxi. Reception staff were very receiving and efficient pointing me in the direction of the room, room was very impressive, comfortable and well stocked. The pool was very impressive and plenty of loungers with frequent complimentary water from the hotel, used the restaurant for evening meal and breakfast, food was freshly made and plenty of choice and quality. This hotel was fantastic and I will be going back

The new room decor isn't cosy. Also, changing a lot of services, such as business centre desks, ICE bucket, and keeping the items like special pillow... Charge me double the amount

It was not as good as it used to be. I believe it could be as a result of if the war.

Had a wonderful stay. The newly renovated rooms are fantastic, modern and extremely comfortable. I really enjoyed the facilities and the food. I want to give a special thank you to ARMANDO who always assist me seamlessly with my bookings. Highly recommended.

My wife and I had an 1 hour layover in Dubai and booked the Creekside Hotel to spend a few hours relaxing before our next flight. Altogether, it was a very nice stay.
