My stay at the Mercure Centre Arles was fine for the most part. It’s a clean, modern hotel centrally located (just behind the tourist information office). My room was quiet and comfortable, and the staff for the most part were pleasant. A few things to note: Check-in time is 3:00 pm, and even at 2:55 the front desk was reluctant to let me check in until I insisted (after having walked through Arles for much of the day). The hotel “gym” (just a room near the elevators) needs major attention. The machines (elliptical and 2 treadmills) need service, the room is way too hot (no AC), and there were no towels or water. The breakfast buffet was so-so. I left a small amount of laundry to be done, and yet it still hadn’t been done by the following afternoon, again until I followed up with the front desk.

Good location, nice room. Staff was mostly helpful. Some odd misses though... staff was not very good at providing directions to some sites. Parking was a nightmare due to the market and the weekend festivities. The roof pool seemed closed sunday...

My reservation was not an easy one, there were multiple rooms, a request that they'd be close to one another, and different lengths of stay. Every request was taken into account. At some point a small mistake was made: I needed two cots, and the room booked could not accomodate them, they immediately upgraded me to a junior suite without any fuss. They did it all with a smile and positive behavior throughout our stay. I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the service. Thank you for making this trip as smooth as possible!

Arriving in Arles, Booking.com canceled our reservation at another Hotel, which was sloppy work by them. With help of the owner of the original hotel, we were booked Hotel Mercure who found us a room for 5 days. The Staff was extremely helpful the entire time. We were separated from our travel friends but this hotel was magnificent. We will look for more Accore hotels in the future.

We stayed at an apartment first not having air conditioning. It was tough for children but this hotel has good air conditioning systems in each room and it helped children’s health.

We were very happy with our stay. Friendly and helpful staff, very good cleaning and a beautiful rooftop terrace. We have only 2 things to complaint about; the smell of mold, especially in stairways (from the carpets?) and really dull knives to cut bread at breakfast.

Dear Ingvild S., Thank you for your positive feedback regarding your stay. We are delighted that you appreciated our staff, cleanliness, and our terrace. We take note of your comments regarding the odor and the knives, and we will ensure to examine them closely. Sincerely, Mercure Arles Centre Arènes

We booked a weekend away to get away from the fires in the region. Location of the hotel is excellent and a great but tight car park. Wish we had booked a bigger room as the room we had booked probably had less room than a standard Ibis bedroom. That aside we enjoyed the stay and staff were great.

Disappointing late checking in as the room appointed was not ready. Polite and helpful staff . Our room was small and ordinary,, diappointing. At breakfast there was no plates or cutlery left as a large group had just left, leaving independent tourists in disbelief, in a Mercure establishment. Poor management.

I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you experienced during your late check-in, as well as the issues with the breakfast service.
