The welcome was friendly, the room cleaned and the hotel had some useful facilities (open air pool, restaur, bar, souvenir shop). However, the shower was broken (not properly attached to the wall so very difficult to use) and the toilet did not flush. I expect a budget hotel to be basic, but not broken.

We only stayed for one night and our plans were ruined by a poor check-in experience. The receptionist told us our room was ready, but we ended up waiting an hour for it. Because of this delay, we lost precious time and couldn't visit the city as planned. Disappointing for a short stay.

See above re uncooked chicken at understaffed and rushed hotel restaurant. And undersheet in bed was not big enough to tuck in. And no cleaning services provider or towel changes in room

I am still waiting for any response to my emails regarding a refund (for August 23 reservation) that was verbally confirmed to me by an employee at Ibis budget Arles , via phone with the front desk of Ibis Toulouse. I have no way of knowing if this matter is evening being considered at the moment. In addition to honoring the refund, simply answering my emails so that I know you are hearing me and are working it would be appreciated. Thank you

Long check-ins, smaller room provided so that I would have one with the AC (AC still didn't work). The real reason was that the clerk had given away my room by mistake. Hotel ran out of toilet paper. Coffee machine not working. Hotel must be located near a waste site; there's a permanent smell on the first two floors. Toilets look disgusting upon first entry in the room. Never. Never again.

My air conditioning didn't work - I was not given any refund on this despite speaking to the manager about it. There was a terrible sell coming up from the drain, the toilet lid was broken, and the carpet was stained. All in all it was a terrible experience and it is the worst hotel I have stayed in.

Less service year after year… I stayed at this hotel during the Rencontres de la Photographie for many years now. But every year prices rise (which is quite unavoidable) and service becomes worse. The daily room service is not provided any more, unless you ask for it the day before. No compensation is given for that (e.g. free drink at the bar or similar) Toilet flush in the bathroom did not work properly and the room key card had to be reactivated 12(!) times during my stay (4 nights). Same problem as last year. People at the front desk were kind and helpful but could not manage the many technical problems. The building urgently needs a makeover. Don’t think to be back in 2027.

We just stayed for a night. Everything went well - the accommodation was comfortable, the staff very welcoming. One thing that I'd complain about is the fact that in the room description at booking there was information that there's a bath or a shower which wasn't the case in the end. I was specifically looking for an accommodation with a bath and when contacted the hotel I was told that there's no bath option - why write that in the description then?

The building is in a deplorable condition in a rundown neighborhood—the rooms were not clean, especially the additional blankets. Breakfast was poor.
