The room was fine although some maintenance required. No restaurant open on a weekend was an inconvenience The exterior of the hotel could use some TLC, it looks unkept and dirty. I don’t think it lives up to the Ibis Styles name. The Ibis Styles in Toulouse was lovely.

At checkin, the receptionist seemed to have vision issues and was unable to see if the room had been paid for in advance. No containers/glasses in the bathroom. Twin room requested and no space allowed between beds. Reception staff seemed to be overworked, dealing with two Ibis hotels which added to wait time for (e.g.) re-setting of non-functioning room key. Broken light fitting above my bed. Issues of damp in various locations in the room. In dining area a chair was used to keep an outside door shut. At rear of hotel, another door kept open - which is another security issue. At rear commercial access, on the public road, clearly used for fly-tipping and clearly not reported for clearance.

The stay at the hotel was enjoyable. The hotel's location is ideal for walking to Arles. A key factor for us was getting to the hotel by car late in the night. Receiving a phone call from reception asking where we were and when we would arrive was a pleasant experience. The reception staff was friendly and eager to help. Two things require attention: first, the hotel's condition. The windows and doors in the rooms are leaky. It got cold when the Mistral blew. Second, the breakfasts were lacking variety. Exactly the same meals were served for four days.

We did not enjoy our stay
