The temperature was at a high of 86 and a low of 65. We were not informed of the lack of Air Conditioning upon booking and upon arrival, we were informed of the mosquitoes once we were swarmed. There was no physical fan in the room. The airflow system would only produce hot air and that was the only way to circulate air in the room unless you were willing to open the window to the Swarms outside. No small fans were available at the front desk.

We weren't informed that the AC was not working and it was 3 nights of sweating. The bathroom sink didn't drain. The shower head wouldn't stay attached. The toilet seat was broken. The window didn't work correctly.

Bonjour Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding your recent stay. We are sincerely sorry for the discomfort you experienced regarding the temperature in your room. As explained to you at the front desk, our property is equipped with a centralized air conditioning system operating via a heat pump. This means that switching from heating mode to cooling mode cannot be done instantly on a room-by-room basis and requires a technical delay for the entire hotel. As it was still April at the time of your stay, the system had not yet been switched to cooling mode, particularly due to nighttime outdoor temperatures ranging between 10°C and 16°C. We understand that this situation, combined with higher daytime temperatures, may have caused discomfort, and we sincerely apologize. During your stay, our team did its best to find solutions and compensate for this inconvenience. As such, we were pleased to offer complimentary drinks for both rooms (a total of 4 guests). In addition, as an exceptional gesture, we allowed you to consume your own food and alcoholic beverages in our restaurant, which is normally not permitted. We also offered you a room change in order to improve your comfort. We place great importance on guest satisfaction and take your comments into account in order to continuously improve the quality of our services. Manager

Convenient to access by road and a good daytime bus service into Arles (or 25 min walk) we found it a good base for exploring the city and surrounding countryside. The staff were delightful.
