Very poor experience. The rooms were dirty, the housekeepers did not vacuum nor replaced shower gel throughout out stay, additionally the rooms were smelly, something wrong with the sewage. Most dramatically, service was close to non existing. There was no snacking menu and when we wished to order some food to enjoy outside on the terrace or at the bar, everything was out of order. This is unacceptable considering the price we paid, service is far below 5 star standards.

The hotel feels like it needs a significant renovation to feel closer to a 5 star experience. Attention to details was not there, common areas lacked a mojo, reception is poorly layed-out, patio area and external garden not really taken advantage of, roomservice menu lacking options.

the room was large enouth with a nice bath room. In this particular time we did appreciate the cleaningness of the room. The food at the restaurant is good with a nice choice of régional wine. The hotel decoration is associated with Christian Lacroix with warm colors creating a nice atmosphere.

The front desk staff was very welcoming from the start of the booking process to check out and the room was very confortable.'Thanks for upgrading us) Hotel is clean and the spa is great. My wife had one of the best massage from Peggy. Pool area quite small(you get close to smokers..) and not enough loungers. Restaurant was good. Some waiters werent warm and welcoming. Being in Arles during a quiet time was fun.

The Christian Lacroix decor is pretty awful. In the public areas, the clashing primary colors are at least whimsical and bright. In our first suite (118) they were unacceptable—a bedroom painted blood red (even the ceiling!), a narrow sitting rooM that was little better. We were moved to 200, which was at least more cheerful, though an absurd blowup of an 18th century portrait with staring eyes was unpleasant. Oh, and there were no English language channels on the TV.

Very lovely hotel, was easy to find and the staff were very helpful. We had a junior suite on the ground floor, lots of room and a large bathroom. It was quiet, but maybe we did not have anyone above us. The breakfast which we had five of had a lot of choice, but the scrambled egg was always tepid, perhaps its the containers which it is put in to keep hot, do not think they work? All the staff were very friendly and helpful

Great design, plrasant stay, but some flaws

Lovely design, but design over function, for example bathroom floods when having a showet in the bathtub, even after carefully adjusting the screen, breakfast was quality, except coffee which was awful and took ages to get a refill, staff at breakfast were just not looking out. Dinner was good, but once we were nearly charged for 2 menues when we had a mai course and menue only. So best to check bill carefully, my husband had already signed. It was refunded without apology. The grounds are lovely, so i would recommend staying. We stayed in a junior suite. Service is not 5 star. SAUNA AND WHIRLPOOL COST 20 EURO PER PERSON. never had this, used it once, ok, but not great. Pool area nice but outside

From the moment we arrived we were really well looked after, the staff couldn’t have been more polite & helpful. Loved the swans on our bed, cakes & selection of coffees & teas, along with the decor & quirky floor tiles, but the pool was full of leaves, there was water under our toilet in the bathroom, the bath plug didn’t seal & our toilet seat was on at a strange angle. These details let the place down for us.

A shame about the aircon

The hotel is brilliantly situated near to the historic town. It is comfortable though a little quirky, but our stay was marred by the lack of air conditioning. We complained but were told to open the window. We did but still passed a sleepless night bathed in sweat.
