The hotel is a great little boutique place to stay, with a great funky atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, with interesting, querky displays in the bottom or the stairwells and the small restaurant, Percy's, in the lobby that offers French-inspired breakfast and Spainish evening meals is worth a try, whether you're staying or not!

I had a one night stay here and it was great - staff were so friendly and available 24/7, parking was simple, affordable and located right across the road, the room was comfortable and had everything I needed, and its located close to everything in Pyrmont. Would definitely stay again!

Was a great stay, the parking situation is frustrating and an additional expense- they do not have their own parking but partner with Wilson’s across the road once they validate it costs $65/ 24 hours unlimited entry/ exit. I stayed in the homestead suite- was initially an issue with the room and it was not ready despite us arriving almost 2 hours after check in time. We then had to wait an additional 30- 40 minutes for the room however they did take our bags for us and we were given a complimentary drink. We stayed in that specific room for the private street access as I was getting married and wanted easy access for my bridal party. We where given complimentary cake and champagne however there was no bottle opener or kitchen utensils/ cutlery plates ect available except for the ones with the cake only kitchen items where cups, Overall good experience but wish I was more clearly informed of the parking situation at the time of booking due to it being an additional expense.

This is fabulous little piece of history nestled amongst large corporation hotels. Beautifully renovated, it has retained elements of it's original purpose as a wool store which lends to it's ambience and has a vibrant bar/restaurant serving Spanish tapas and food. Convenient access to Darling Harbour, the ICC, restaurants and general stores which are all within easy walking distance.

I will leave this private as your service was excellent in sorting out problems, but there were problems... Our first room was so tiny it felt like a joke. We decided to ask for a bigger room and were happy to pay to move. The second room was bigger, but was incredibly noisy. The rumble of the air conditioning above our bed was very, very, very loud. There was a big sopping wet patch on the rug where someone had tried to clean a nasty stain, without any luck, and the bath mat was dirty... it wasn't a clean room. We don't usually complain unless things are really bad, and I thought we might get used to the noise so we stayed another night in that room, but even putting in earplugs didn't cut the noise and then it became obvious that the air con wasn't working. We were offered a room on the same top floor which was lovely, but the noise issue from the air conditioning unit was just as bad. The walls were vibrating so we declined that room and asked if there was a room on a different level hoping to avoid the issue. We were given a room on level three which was great. Air con working and nice and big. The breakfasts were great, love the industrial vibe and people were all very helpful, but it really was a stay of two halves. The corner rooms should have king single beds, and be offered to parties of one! I now see that the dimensions are on the website but really, that room is not big enough for two people... and we are not even very big people. Measurements are not my thing and I like 'cosy' but this was ridiculous. Nowhere to put luggage for two people, and not even room for one comfy chair. The bathroom sinks were chipped in both the rooms we stayed in, and 'curated snacks and drinks'... juice, water, pringles and a tiny kitkat which weren't even replenished... hardly 'curated'! Tea and coffee... instant coffee in a hotel, really? The location is great but it didn't feel like a luxury retreat experience. Feedback for you as I am not making it public... there were things to like, but also things you could change to make it better. Fitted sheets on the king size bed for one. It came untucked after a few minutes.

I was in at 5pm and out by 6,30am so just a quick stay but everything from the warm greeting at reception to the well lit room was great.

I wish I could give a positive review, however I was really disappointed with your hotel. Both mornings the shower water was cold. seriously cold. Also, apparently it's a known issue that the 4th floor aircon in the room doesnt work (so the reception staff said when we said we couldnt make it work) , and it can only be controlled by the reception staff. Our room was 26 degrees and we couldn't reduce it. Happy that there was another room available on the 3rd floor. I wish I had more positives, as the location is great and the rooms are well done. But my stay was far from ideal for a business trip.

We appreciate how frustrating it would have been to be unable to adjust the temperature in your room, particularly when it remained uncomfortably warm.The issue is currently in the process of being rectified. While I am pleased that our team was able to relocate you to an alternative room on the third floor, I recognise that this should not have been necessary. That said, we are grateful for your kind comments regarding our location and the design of the rooms. I paid for an upgraded room but the windows had bars on them looking out into a dark alley. Furthermore, a door opened up to that dark alley where a random person was smoking. The room is not convenient for anyone who has handicaps as they were stairs once you enter the room the up to the loft and down to the living room. To make things more complicated, the bathroom was no where near the bedroom, but downstairs around the corner from the living room.

Our Homestead Loft is designed to reflect the unique character of the heritage building, with a split-level layout that separates the living, sleeping, and bathroom spaces. While many guests enjoy this distinctive design, we appreciate that it may not suit everyone's preferences, particularly those with mobility concerns or those seeking a more traditional hotel room configuration. We do outline the Loft room layout and features within our room descriptions; however, we understand that experiencing the room in person can be quite different. I am also sorry to hear that the outlook from your room detracted from your stay and that the presence of an external access door and another individual outside area made you feel uncomfortable. I booked a queen suite and we were in a loft that was very noisy all night long ( something g on the roof) would never book a loft as we don’t want the stairs in the middle of the nigh
