If you need a room close to exhibition hall

A hotel that I will stay once a year for exhibition. Only aware it changed to Novotel this year when booking again. Room and corridor are super hot which was not when previous stay. So, I am not sure why the staff said it's because of the location of the room makes it hot. Did changed, it's same. I want shinny shine egg when breakfast but a staff there push me for over easy. If you went for breakfast after 8am, nothing will be refilled but it says breakfast serves till 10am...
