Hotel experience was decent, reservation experience was horrible

To summarize: 1) I booked 8 rooms at members rate to be informed that it was a mistake, 2) rooms were released from app despite confirmation from reservation officer that they would hold while I check for membership from friends, 3) rooms reinstated in app, only to be dropped once again and had to be manually processed. 4) upon check in, 4 King + 4 doubles was reallocated as 7 King + 1 double which counter staff insisted that I reserved wrongly only to be corrected when I had to prove that I had booked accurately in app. Other than that, the actual hotel stay was lovely which I would give it an 8.

Overall is acceptable. However the hotel charged my card a week in advance even though it’s a flexible rate. Room sound proof is no good. I can hear my next door room occupant snoring throughout the night.
