This is my first time to stay with purpose to try the services and see how it is different comparing with other Accor hotels in Hochiminh city. The service was pretty good with very attentive staff. However, in-room welcome fruits were quite bad, far below my original imagination. E-invoicing is also slow comparing with others.

From start to finish we were blown away by the professional service at the Hotel des Arts and the wonderful little touches to detail to make my family more comfortable. Our dietary restrictions were well noted and the FO team could not have been more accommodating. Our bedroom was spotless and well adorned and we loved that the team took the efforts to include baby safe bath products and even a teddy bear for our infant son. In addition, when Chef Amy was working at the breakfast shift we were truly spoiled and noted that it was one of the best breakfasts that we have enjoyed in ages at any accor property. To boot, the roof pool bar was nicely tended to and perfect for getting in a bit of exercise. I would highly recommend the property and will most certainly be back.

Following a polite welcome and effortless check while seated at a vintage desk in the hotel lobby, my first inspection revealed a luxurious room, well appointed, with honest art deco reflective styling; well prepared and immaculate. The welcome fruits, pastries and chocolates made for an above expectations moment. And to cap my arrival a welcome wine was offered to me at the rooftop bar where you can see neon lit vistas across the vibrant Saigon cityscape. Returning to my room and post a hot shower, the king bed absorbed me and gave a comfortable, restful night’s sleep. Awakened by a cheerful voice of a booked wake-up call, a closer inspection of the compact bathroom showed clean lines and marble finishes - featuring an amble sized walk-in rain shower and rewarded me with a fresh start to my day. All amenities from toothbrush to razor where there if needed. To fuel my day friendly staff handed me a piping hot latte at the buffet breakfast restaurant and engaged in polite conversation with a well groomed staff wearing a traditional dress ai gai uniform that put me in a good mood for the day. All-in-all I can highly recommended this artistic hotel which is superbly located in the heart of Saigon.

Worst Room Possible

I can’t believe anyone designing a room where the bathroom is separated from the bedroom with a thin curtain and the toilet which has a gap of maybe 15 cm at the top and opens straight onto the bedroom. Amazingly stupid. We booked & paid for 2 nights and left after one. The breakfast was particularly ordinary. The staff were lovely which is why the hotel gets 2 stars.

We had a great stay, thank you. We enjoyed breakfast but much prefer when it is served downstairs on the ground floor. There it feels more special and a much more unique and personal experience. The room service food was good without being great as my food was a bit dry and not served hot. The staff were attentive and friendly. The rooms are well set out, very comfortable and modern. The location is good and the mood of the hotel is quiet and relaxed.
