writing this review whilst being quarantined in another Accor hotel, i was quite desperate for Sofitel's experience as it's alot better than where i am now. I wish that All accor FO members could be as outstanding as Mr. Eban and his team (Khanh, Duy, Tri, An, Hien). The operators (Hoa and Hoan) are definitely more accommodating and could answer all of my queries in 30 seconds. Now I have to do own HK works during quarantine and as such i can feel how hard working the Sofitel HKs showed during my stays thanks for Dieu, Thoa, Ngan, Thuong, Luom, Hung, Thanh. I would prefer Sofitel' brekkie during which my vitamin & nutrition are fully loaded (tks Tinh, Nhat, That, My). 17 days more to go before i can return to have my most favourite dinner in Le 17 Bistro. I believe that Cuong, Thomas, Nhi, Q., Phong, Huynh, Van Anh, Tan x2 (Le 17 and Pool) would welcome me back. Ms Huyen never let me have a chance for any complaint. Am i allowed for self-quarantine in Sofitel?

All staffs were friendly and supportive. It's an old hotel but facilities were mostly well maintained. Room was clean and comfortable. Overall staying experience was pleasant.

Room good. Swimming pool good. staff good most of the time. Restaurant staff disappointing for the most part. Restaurant options and quality deteriorating. Frustrating that ground-floor coffee shop no longer operated by the hotel, and thus not accepting ACCOR members/member benefits, while still charging 5* prices.

French luxury design of Sofitel Hotel impressed us from the first sight. Real customer care from fist minutes of booking and during the stay. Overall breakfast buffet is good with food variety, even though could be improved, as sometimes we had to wait until they bring coffee. But their coffee is delicious and "soft''. We enjoyed the rooftop swim pool, especially in the evening with nice backlight around and friendly stuff at the bar. Also room was cozy with comfortable bed, their cleaning service surprised us with the sparkly clean room after their visit. Sofitel staff speaks English which is great considering you are in Vietnam and language can be a problem in some hotels. By the way, their waitress Natsuko was friendly and talkative, with good manners. Hope management will notice her efforts :) Another nice woman who most likely a manager of restaurant was quite friendly as well, and did everything to make us feel comfortable. The men at the reception were helpful too and attentive. To summarize: It was our first visit to Saigon and we were satisfied with the hotel choice and hotel area as it's well located and not far from shopping malls. Great experience, recommend to all travelers or business travelers as you will have environment to work in you room such as desk and chair along with fast internet. Also you will have mini espresso machine in the room which is great and tea set with a kettle. Real 5 star hotel.

I’ve had multiple stays at Sofitel Saigon and the best part of the experience is the pre-arrival. Sometimes I order delivery and have it sent to the hotel so when I make arrangements with the hotel staff prior to arrival, they are always so kind to help me accept my packages on my behalf. I tend to choose Sofitel Saigon because of the location. Easy walking distance to where I usual go.

Eban did a great welcome for me and my partner as usual. Khanh, Tri & An of FO made a smooth checkin & check out. The morning buffet was excellently served thanks for Mr Nhat & Mr That (sorry if i misspelled). The club lounge benefits exceeded what was precovid. My dining preference was always remembered by Thomas, Nhi, Quang and Tan. The operator Hoa is quite accomodating. Ill bring a bigger group back soon.

We held our school's graduation dinner with you on April 23, 2021. The arrangements before the event were clear and well handled. On the day, the staff were excellent, especially the AV helper and banquet manager. The buffet was impressive - several guests commented on the range and quality of the food.

My fafourite hotel in hochiminh city. Location and food are the signatures of Sofitel. Love the bánh mì in buffet breakfast. Gym is also good. First choice if I need a hotel or staycation in the city!

Delicious Food. Nice Room Upgrade and Services. Come to Sofitel for a family party, and I received the best services arranged by a best team that I ever know. I would like to thank FO team (Eban, Uyen, Đan) for organize a very nice room and accommodate my family until the end. Sofitel F&B is simply the best. Tình, Nhi, Nhat Linh, That, Bình, My, Trang (Le 17 Restaurant) make everybody feel comfortable and relax during the party with their professionalism and dedication. I could not expect more than that. Eban, Dinh, Hien, Thong of FO always accommodated all of our requests. All staff members had great skills with a friendly behaviors. We enjoyed every single minute of our stay. all the meals are excellent diligently served by talented Cuong (chef) and other amazing restaurant staff members such as Tinh, Thomas, Quang, Nhat, Tan, That, Nhi and My. Pleasant weekemd staycation at Sofitel, upgraded to Pretige Suite by an voucher, even most of restaurants, gym and spa were closed by covid impacts, lounge access benefits were nice and fair enough with light dinner menu every evening from 6 to 8pm. Except for Sunday night boring food menu (from regular all-day-dining menu), most of food at le 17 bistro were good with very impressive French style. Love this hotel, will come back. Room was old but in good maintenance, except for old dark lighting and unreasonable switches!

The staff called me before my arrival made me feel quite pissed and uncomfortable: + Phone call (personal one) at 9:00 pm (seriously ?!) + i didnt feel any kind of previleges as an ACCOR PLATINUM MEMBER while he insisted me to check in at 2pm repeatedly without asking me my arriving time, or benefits of a Platinum member and offered me the late c/o at 4pm even tho i didnt need that. + While i asked for the Suite night reward upgrade and how to book that, he said yes and will help me to process it on the day i come... turned out he didnt reply me back or anykind of notice about that. (HOTEL TRAINED THE STAFF IGNORED GUEST REQUESTS OR SO?!) + He asked my arriving time carefully and when i came to the hotel (45minutes later than the time i told him but i gotta wait and stand there more than 15 minutes to get the room) + The staff checked me in showed a very judging, cold and unfriendly look. I didnt feel any welcoming or so as aPlatinum. And the checking process is super slow, inefficient and unprofessional. He didnt tell me which room i got upgraded or not, just saying: price, night, sign...?!?!? I got into the room and no amenities setup?? So i went out for lunch about 1 hour and came back the hotel trying to sleep and the staff keep knocking to set up amenties and stuff twice?!? I dont even know how the hotel treat their loyal guess like that. So disappointed!
