Nice hotel close to airport with free shuttle and lots of breakfast choices. Welcome drinks available but non-alcoholic. Rooftop bar has great airport views, rooms surprisingly quiet despite proximity to the airport. Definitely would stay again!

No pick up from domestic, only international. A quick cocktail before sleep was nice. Pool was closed, it was too late. Rooms small but adequate and clean. Would stay again if we got in late and had an early flight again.

Excellent stay. Really close to international terminal and Terminal 1 domestic. We flew in from Sydney and luckily for us, there were no lines at immigration so we were out of the airport really quickly! Once out of the airport, just look for the hotel sign at pillar 8. Then it's a short wait for the airport shuttle mini bus for the short trip to the hotel! You could easily walk to the hotel if you wanted to but its hard with the heat and luggage. Once in the hotel the staff were great, and the room was perfect. After dropping luggage in our rooms, we headed to the top floor to see the pool area and bar. Both really nice!! The pool looked extremely inviting and I put my hand in. And my head said, wow, its the perfect temperature! But since it was nearly 10pm we didn't go in, but I was very tempted :) We ordered drinks from the bar. My first was a passionfruit mocktail. Yum!! My partner ordered a beer and I had a coconut juice. The coconut juice came in the coconut, which still had the flesh in it. I asked for a spoon to dig out all the flesh to eat and the bar staff readily helped me out :) The charge for the 3 drinks was about $13 AUD. Ie. Significantly cheaper than prices at home. The shower kept all the water in the cubicle with the door closed (that doesnt happen everywhere - shower water didn't go all over the bathroom!) And WiFi worked well. The room had a mini fridge - no freezer compartment. For some reason, paying by Mastercard allowed us to qualify for an included breakfast! The breakfast was amazing!! Loads of choices, much like the variety you can get on cruise ships. Breads, hot foods, salad options, cereals, cold meats, and asian breakfasts and soups.... I felt like it was a dangerous breakfast because you could easily overeat.... my partner was looking for muesli but it didn't seem to be an option though. But never mind. So many other options!! Loved the drink options too. Teas, coffees etc plus water, Pineapple juice and Watermelon juice!!! I'm in heaven!! A tip. Bring a bottle with a wide opening into the breakfast area, you can get ice to take away. Vietnam is really hot in most months of the year and August was no exception. On departure, our next flight was from Terminal 3 (from memory) and we took a Grab as the hotel shuttle doesn't go to that Terminal. The ride was about 15 minutes and very cheap and easy. Anyway, I highly recommend the Ibis at Saigon airport and would happily stay there again!

My usual stay if I am at HCM. Firstly the staff are welcoming and helpful Location is near airport and plenty of eateries Bath room is small and towels are placed next to toilet bowl which is unhealthy Overall room is good except that the pillows are too soft and not neck supportive . Hotel should consider supplying newer good pillows
