Stay was pleasant although request for a queen size bed made upon booking was not fulfilled. There was no assistance rendered upon arrival/leaving and the hotel entrance is not conducive for luggage.

Stayed at the 8th floor. Last time there where an open view to the Saigon River bridge. Now there's a large 7/24 construction site just in front of the hotel. Clean, comfy rooms in IBIS standard. Hotel Bar closed. Looking for a new company to take over. Breakfast and reception are fine. Vinasun Taxi stand in front of the hotel. Great Shushi Bar next to the hotel. ATM and Family Mart around the corner.

good location in a very western area of Saigon. close to restaurants and up market shopping centres. 20 mins to airport and 10 to city centre. friendly staff and clean modern hotel with good buffet breakfast .

I stayed at the Ibis for two months, while a volunteer consultant to Fulbright University Vietnam. The Ibis staff was always very friendly and helpful, from first day to last, and from Sunny, Bill and others on the front desk to the breakfast staff to laundry and housekeeping. My room was kept immaculately clean every day, and as a long-term guest I much appreciated having 2 pieces of complimentary laundry done each day. As an American who used a lot of Grab cars, I was very grateful to the front office staff for confirming my reservations when the Grab drivers called back, or coming out on the front porch to help me be sure I was headed to the right location. Any suggestions for improvements? Two very small items, both for breakfast. Quite frequently, one of the two expresso coffee machines would not be working properly, and created waits for coffee. And those preparing the food for breakfast might think about more variety in the cooked dishes. With six dishes served in hot containers, generally 4-5 of them were the same each day: bacon, sausage, 2 sautéed vegetables, and fried tomatoes. Maybe this is only an issue for longer-term guests.

The room lighting was poor and the bathroom lighting even worse. Some of us need to shave (or apply makeup), and it is impossible to do so without adequate light.

I have never been so dissatisfied with a service provider as the IBIS South Vietnam and IBIS Airport hotels. It was all about the hotel profit and process over C. service. After initially booking IBIS South as an honest mistake I contacted this hotel to change my booking over the IBIS Airport hotel. As I had booked non refundable two rooms I was advised that this was impossible to change. They were happy to change the date … which highlighted they could in fact make a change and but simply didn’t want to hand the money over to another hotel (not conducive to global hotel chain). I then had to book TWO rooms for my family again at the IBIs airport as they wouldn’t allow me to book a family room. Upon check in they had in fact upgraded one of my rooms to a family room. We found this room and beds easy to accommodate my family of 4. We left the other rooms that I had paid for unoccupied. Two children ages 11 and 14. I know hotel policy above 11 means adult. I was happy to pay extra for same room but no flexibility. How does hotel chain expect to separate family on holiday in foreign country? We only needed one room for 5 hours. I feel completely ripped off by these hotels and will never recommend IBIS to anyone.

The stay at hotel was overall satisfactory. The venue is just opposite to Saigon Exhibition Centre. only 2 minutes walk. Very convenient for attending exhibition. The nearest shopping mall, Robinson, and walkway on river are very good.

Most of the employees were very friendly and especially the manager of the restaurant felt very friendly. At check-in and check-out, I think I got very good service without waiting time. I think I will stay again if I come back to Ho Chi Min.
