Great location, short walk to old town. Staff were friendly and our room was large, clean, warm and quiet with no noise from the street or other guests. Pool and spa area were a bit bonus after a busy day sight seeing!

Our experience was generally good, but something still felt missing. For example, the treats offered during the chocolate hour had completely run out, even though we arrived on time. Overall, I felt the chocolate hour selection was quite mediocre — our expectations had been higher. The room was okay as well, but nothing special. We were celebrating my mother’s birthday, and I had hoped for a small surprise from the hotel. However, no surprise was provided, nor was my mother congratulated. Of course, we did receive the fruit basket that we had pre-ordered and paid for, and that was nice.

Beautiful decor but noisy and disruptive. I was on the second floor (room 204 I think) and I could hear doors slamming - from downstairs I think. The rooms are stunning. The small mirror light in the bathroom is annoying as I couldn't turn it off and the curtains didn't close completely so I could see the dustbin trucks lights in my room. I had an early flight so couldn't stay for breakfast. Spa was lovely. The noise was the only real problem.

The hotel is located well, a short walk from the old town and near the main sights. Service at the hotel was excellent and the team were friendly and welcoming. Modern hotel with great amenities and lovely pool and spa.
