Visited for 3 nights. Impressed by the comfort of the room, bed and facilities within the room including the very strong WiFi. The buffet style breakfast was superb with an amazing choice of food and drink items available. With regards the staff none stuck out as either over positive or negative. Just professional in their approach. The two niggles which detracted from me giving a higher score have been mentioned in previous reviews of other travellers so maybe it’s time the management of the hotel addressed these. Namely:- The room was very cold on arrival and took over 24 hours to react even then was not to my liking. Important when the wind chill temperature outside was minus 8. The shower had a tendency to leak over the bathroom floor. On my first day I was out of the room until approx 5pm yet housekeeping had not attended to the room. A third world problem but something you would reasonably expect a hotel of this calibre to manage. Tallinn is a wonderful place to visit and I would hope to return. Whether I would return here is questionable

Everything was great and the service was on top! This one thing I have been wondering is that why hotels like yours don’t build toilets including bide pipes. I bet so many people hopes for that. Great holidays and thank you for the amazing hospitality.

We had higher expectations for our stay in Swisshotel Tallinn. The room was not a five star experience. Tv didn't work at all. Lights didn't work properly either as they were all on or all off. We tried all the switches many times and different ways, but couldn't find a way to use a moody lighting, just the bedside lamps for example. We also could have used the floor lamp and switch everything else off, but it didn't work at all, so we just gave up. Those were small matters compared to the bathroom floor. As the floor tiles got wet after using the shower, they were seriously slippery and dangerous. First my husband nearly fell but managed to save the situation. After him I went to the bathroom and fell. Hurt my hip but luckily didn't break anything or hit my head to the bathtub. My hip is still sore, though. The tiles really shouldn't get slippery when wet - they are bathroom floor tiles after all. Or are they? I strongly recommend that you do something about this before anything serious happens. And yes -- we did tell all this as we checked out of the hotel. I really hope that these matters were taken seriously... The service was excellent. The personnel was really polite and mindful. Breakfast was five stars and also the restaurants/bars upstairs and downstairs were great.

Please accept our sincere apologies for the inconveniences you experienced, including the empty water bottle in your room, the lack of morning coffee service at breakfast, the room temperature being too warm, and the food at Horisont Bar not meeting your taste expectations. This is certainly not the level of experience we aim to deliver, and I regret that we did not address these issues during your stay. Room was not properly cleaned and checked. For example under the bed there were lots of ”confetti” that we found elsewhere in the room aswell. Bathroom was also not cleaned properly. When we arrived the shower was leaking lots of water and the whole room was ”moisty” or like rainforest. Also the bathroom tiles where moving and out of place.
