Staff was friendly, property is an interesting renovated old building, room was spacious. Should have been some warning of construction on adjacent property which dominated the view and soundscape. Minimal view of the sea was fine. Food was good. Hallways were dusty and carpet needed to be vacuumed. I gave 48 hour advance notice of intention to check out days early, yet upon checkout there was no knowledge of this by staff. Bed was not very comfortable. Low shower water pressure. No welcome drink upon checkin.

Finally, a hotel that treats you according to your status. They check your arrival with you, welcome you according to your status on loyalty program even if it is the 1st stay (upgraded room, welcome pack, priority checkin, etc). Great food at the hotel and not overly priced. All staff was very nice.

We stayed for 3 nights and from the reception and restaurant staff to the cleaning staff, nothing was too much trouble and we were made to feel very welcome. We received an upgrade to our room, which was very much appreciated and were also shown the use of the parking garage in person.

Such a warm welcome at the check in desk as soon as we arrived (forgot her name but she was exceptional on delivering great care to make our stay more comfortable). The hotel offers great bedding, excellent cleanliness (bravo housekeeping), good amenities and even if small in size a good efficient SPA to relax (would have loved if the swimming pool was more heated).
