We were generally happy with our stay. The hotel is conveniently located between two bus stops and the room was a comfortable size. The check in process was a little confusing with the woman at the front failing to greet us when we walked into the hotel. Another guest had the same issue and directed us to the woman at the front with the laptop. When we finally approached her she was rather facetious in her greeting to us. She then forgot to give us our guest card when we checked in and so when we went back to get it she looked rather annoyed and threw the guest cards down on the desk and muttered something in French. The other employees were helpful.

Chamonix is one of the best place we have ever visited and we will be visiting again.This impression wouldn’t have possible without a great accommodation, especially when We have a special need child We have stayed in a family room of 5, with Balcony . What a great place to stay in, mind blowing.it was very peaceful and calm place. It was a perfect place for us all to stay in. Your staff are awesome, very friendly, very supportive and knowledgeable. I can’t express how grateful we were with everything .

Front desk staff was really nice, they were always willing to help and friendly. They kindly upgraded me to a bigger room without charge! The upgraded room was lovely, had an amazing view. Kettle available at reception if you need one. Overall a great stay! Breakfast was good. Restaurant was good for dinner.

We got the perfect corner room with a big balcony. We could see the mountains in front of us. Limited car parking space - we reserved in advance so it was okay. They have a Italian restaurant in the property which is also very good. Bus stop is just few meters from the location.

Rooms are moderately sized with lots of space to store and organize your belongs. Toilet separate from shower area which I love. Breakfast, included, was very nice and filling. Lots of options. Room was very clean! Check-in staff / Reception was generally very welcoming and helpful. Particularly the male receptionist. He was friendly, cheerful and helpful at all times. The red-haired, curly female receptionist on the flipside was surly and brandished an atitude. Dealing with her was like dealing with a petulent 14-year old. Total vibe miss for hospitality. She literally rolled her eyes and gave me a heavy sigh when I asked her to correct a miscalculation in the luggage charge for our stay. I was floored by her response and attitude. When she realized that I wasn't going to let it slide, she began acting more professional, but wow, just wow! She doesn't really seem to want to be working in hospitality, maybe anywhere. Again, every other person, including in the restaurant was super friendly and welcoming and thankfully made our experience overall a great one and I will continue to refer my friends and family to IBIS.

I really enjoyed my stay before the Tour du Mont Blanc

Great price for what you get, especially if you're a hiker starting the TMB right near the trailhead. The room was super comfy, breakfast was huge, and the staff were really friendly! I totally recommend it!

We appreciated the excellent and kind staff assistance. They proved to be very helpful with local information and travel arrangements.

Stayed overnight on our way to Italy. The hotel is just 5 minutes from the motorway and 15 minutes to the Mont Blanc Tunnel. Friendly staff and a good selection of hot and cold items for breakfast. Very clean and newly decorated room. Beautiful view from our room and balcony. Car parking €15 a night or there is free parking 100 metres away. Pity the hotel restaurant was closed but we had splendid drinks in Le Copains D’abord and a good meal at Le Refuge, which was recommended by hotel staff.

This is our third stay at the Ibis in Les Houches. We didn't ski Les Houches this year, we drove round to Megeve and Les Contaminnes as the snow was better. We stayed for 3 nights to ski, we had a triple room for 2 adults and my 14 yr old daughter. The beds are super comfy. The housekeeping team do a great job keeping the rooms beautiful and stocked with fresh towels. the breakfast is ample and did the trick. All in all, excellent value. I asked for a bottle of tap water every evening on the way to bed and the hotel staff were always helpful and provided cold water and glasses. To make this hotel perfect - the rooms need more hooks (for ski gear) and tea/coffee making facilities in the room. This would make it a 10 for us :)

Very happy with breakfast great selection and hotel was clean...all staff were friendly and bedrooms/bathroom were keep clean everyday. I would have no problem recommending ibis styles les houchues.

Our stay in mid-March was towards the end of the skiing season. It did surprise that the hotel seemed to be fairly quiet, particularly the apres-ski and night-time bar areas. This did not affect our stay but were surprised the hotel couldn't cover the France v England rugby match on TV.

Well the beds are solid, do not expect 4-5 * star here, the pillows are useless, the room is clean, the wifi works, the breakfast is ok nothing too exciting needs more fresh fruit options. staff are welcoming and helpful, ski locker is a nice add, no pool or hot tub. Location is ok it's far from the town centre so if you are looking for something close this is not it. Great if you are planning on skiing at Les Houches a short walk to that lift otherwise it's a bus that isn't not overly comfortable. The room temperature was controllable, parking was limited but do not recommend having a car anyway. Pricing is very dynamic so keep an eye on that,
