The Hotel was advertised with a Spa but this was closed indefinitely - no alternative facility was offered at check in. Bad smell in the bathroom. No milk in the room for Tea and Coffee, and restocking of the Tea, Coffee and sugar was very inconsistent. Bar was occupied with a function for the entire day on our arrival.

Hotel was good location wise and the rooms were comfortable. But the lifts weren't working, so we took the stairs...it was a fire escape, when we got there the exit was blocked, so we couldn't get through. Told the receptionist, didn't care. Surprising as they had just had a fire! Lots of snags with the room, breakfast was very poor, for example soggy eggs and sausages.

Twice reported a bad smell in the bathroom to reception and nothing was done. One day the cleaning was terrible and done at 5pm (not good on a skiing trip). All spa facilities were out of order and no compensation offered (such as tickets to the spa in the town). Bar closed for a staff event on Saturday night and 4 days later vomit outside still hadn’t been cleaned away. Bar staff left us with empty glasses for ages (on her phone) so we had to keep getting up and asking for service. Only instant coffee and no milk in our room. No minibar and no glasses on the room. All of which I would expect in a 4 star hotel for €250+ per night. Breakfast was good, no complaints there. Very very bad value for money
