While the location is convenient, the value you get for the price paid is not great: room is very empty (even without a kettle), windows dirty and behind the window Ibis sign that was extremely dirty, breakfast was ok but room is small and busy even at 7:30am on Sunday

We have stayed at Ibis Styles Sallanches, and the neighbouring Ibis Budget, several times over the past 10 years or so. It is very conveniently located for crossing the Mont Blanc tunnel on our way to our annual holiday in Italy. The hotel is very nicely equipped, clean and perfect for us. This year, the two staff who greeted us on 21/08/2026 were both very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The bar snacks are a nice addition to the service. We very much look forward to our next stay on 04/09/2026.

A very nice Ibis Styles hotel in a wonderful location. Nearby sightseeing is very good, with lakes, mountains and even a waterfall. The hotel itself is basic, parking is usually readily available although in summer the car park can be busy. Breakfast is included, however fairly much a continental breakfast with a few hot dishes included.

Every year we stay here overnight on our way to Italy. For many years, the service has been consistent and the hotel is well-maintained. Good gym, good clean room, and excellent breakfast buffet. The man behind the desk even made sure the Wi-Fi was turned on and mentioned it.

The hotel was perfectly located for what we needed, with free parking, a decent breakfast, and friendly staff. However, as a long-time Accor member, I expected to feel more valued. Unfortunately, there was no real recognition, making the stay feel quite ordinary.

Location wasn’t great and had a weird smell at times. We were asked twice whether we wanted our room serviced (once at check in, and once at breakfast) and said yes both times, but our room was never serviced.

The hotel is well located. Breakfast was decent. However, the cleanliness is an issue. Our bathroom was a disaster. The sewage was clogged with hair from previous stays. The shower head was broken. It was like nobody bothered to verify the room before making it available for check-in. Reception was slow to respond and only partially fixed something. Management should really raise the quality bar at this hotel. Will we stay here again? No.
