The room and bed is fine, however, a couple of basic things to note: - the water pressure on the 4th floor is unacceptable, it takes ages to wash your hair - hairdryer broken, started emitting a weird burnt smell when switched on - why aren't appliances checked properly by housekeeping? Had to request a new one in the morning rush with wet hair, which wouldn't be a problem, but... see next point: - TWO pieces of towels only, one "body towel" which is barely large enough to cover your head / hair and ONE piece of small towel for face and hands??? So standing there with wet hair, had to fully dress up to open the door to housekeeping due to the broken hairdryer (of course, no bathrobe provided either) - Water should be complimentary and refreshed every day, had to keep refilling the single bottle provided each day and night IN THE SHOWER as bottle didn't fit under the tap - Cafetiere is less than basic: two regular coffees, one decaf, two sachets of tea and two sugar and sweetener each day - no creamer at all. Would have expected at least a Nespresso machine with a selection for proper coffee, not crappy instant coffee for a hotel of this nature - requested firmer pillows 3x times, as I have a back problem, was given a single memory foam pillow so ended up sleeping with one of the duvets rolled up for 4 nights. - was turned away from buffet dinner as we did not book specifically, the manager was SUPER rude and aggressive. If it hadn't been a mandated hotel by the company, I would have stayed elsewhere.

I had a good experience of staying at Mercury for a night. The rooms are quite spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was very good and had decent options of vegetarians. The hotel is well maintained and clean and very convenient airport. Pick up and drop.

the room is new and comfortable, but I was surprised to not have access to a gym, the restaurant was serving cold sandwiches or frozen pizzas. is it the new mercure standards?

We would like to clarify that the gym is located in the same building as the hotel but is not owned or managed by the hotel and operates independently. However, our guests can access it for a daily fee of CHF 15. We also sincerely apologize for any inconvenience experienced with the restaurant service. A large dance event was taking place at the hotel over the weekend, which led us to offer a reduced menu on an exceptional basis.
