The lady on reception welcomed us after we had phoned from a nearby hotel...she solved our problem as the other hotel would not accept dogs (even little ones)....we were welcomed, made to feel comfortable....very professional and such a relief as we could have had no booking in Fontainebleau that night....

I am a regular guest at your hotel and have always appreciated its excellent location, unique style, and the quality of your staff. These qualities have made me a loyal guest who often returns to stay. However, my recent experience was unfortunately the worst I have ever had, despite booking the most expensive room. Firstly, the room itself felt significantly aged. For example, the mirror on the wall had visible cracks and dirt, which detracted from the overall experience. The bathroom, in particular, was the most disappointing part of the suite. The marble surfaces appeared as though they had not been properly cleaned for some time, with noticeable usage marks that gave an impression of dirtiness. The shower area was particularly uninviting, with a floor that resembled untreated cement. To make matters worse, water would stagnate if the shower was used for more than a few minutes. The salon area was no better. The sofa was in such poor condition that the hotel manager had to cover it with a piece of fabric to hide the visible stains and dirt. This felt like a quick fix for an issue that clearly required a deeper solution. Overall, it seemed like a combination of aging furnishings, insufficient maintenance, and a lack of thorough cleaning contributed to this subpar experience. I would never book the same room again unless it undergoes a complete renovation, as I know that other rooms in the hotel are in much better condition. I sincerely hope the hotel takes steps to address these concerns. Guests who pay a premium price expect a level of quality and cleanliness that matches the cost. If these issues are not addressed, they may eventually harm the hotel’s reputation. Because if a picky and emotional client post any detail i’ve mentioned above in social media, there will be serious damage to the hotel. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I truly hope to see improvements during my next visit, as I would like to continue enjoying my stays at your hotel. Kind regards,

Ok but not going back

No hand soap in the bathroom & thin towels. Not what I expect for this price range. Additional, the elevator was out of service on the day we checked out and we had to get the luggage down by ourselves. It is a good location on the plus side.

Across the Street from the Palace
