Beautiful building, great location, nice bar and breakfast. Location right next to merry go round and across from Fontainebleau chateau was perfect for Christmas concert and markets. Wish staff had been able to assist more re handicap entrance procedure for fontainbleau. Front desk did call Fontainbleau at our request regarding entrance for concert that evening. Unfortunately they did not obtain all necessary information re procedure for handicap entrance-apparently we could have driven right to the entrance via the gate across from hotel- we attempted to walk through this entrance but were turned away and had to walk additional couple of blocks- very difficult for my mobility impaired mother. The only other complaint was difficult to access outlets for tea.

The building itself is beautiful and full of character, and the bedding was very comfortable. Breakfast was truly exceptional — high-quality products, great variety and plenty to choose from. A few points could be improved: the water never gets really cold (I like cold showers), the water pressure is a bit low, and the room finishing could use a light refresh. The décor is also quite minimalistic. Overall, a pleasant stay with excellent hospitality and a fantastic breakfast.

Lovely hotel and staff friendly and helpful but lots of things were not working in my room. Coffee machine disfunction several times even after reporting, fridge defrosted when out of the room and electricity off. All these details give the feeling of neglect.
