All great, simple and minimalistic, but to perfection. Also, extremely nice detail, tell agreed to modify my reservation after mon arrival and check-in; they actually care about the customers and try their best to help.

Easy to find with restaurants very close by. Parking ok. Helpful receptionist who had to change our room because the window was screwed tightly shut (ground floor).

I experienced a couple of problems on arrival - door code not working, window not closing properly - but these were quickly and efficiently resolved. The desk and cleaning staff were very helpful and courteous. I had a most pleasant and comfortable stay.

I made a mistake. I booked this hotel, whilst staying at the Ibis Hotel in Reims for 2 nights 13th + 14th after staying in the Ibis Styles La Louverie 12th July. It seems my error was to book night of 14th by mistake. On arrival at Fontainebleau. Pointed out the error. I apologised. Her grasp of English was poor she said we had to pay for the previous night. She seemed to think I was some sort of an idiot that did not understand the gravity of the situation. To emphasise my understanding I showed her the Ibis Reims booking. Pointing out that I was already staying in an Ibis hotel, and could not stay in two hotels at the same time. She was however unable to understand this and suggested that we either pay again or leave. We did the latter. She at no time tried to contact a senior member of staff to see advice. This young Lady was the most unpleasant person I have EVER encountered in 30 or so years of staying in Accor group hotels. I always use Accor group hotels and have recommended the group to others as your management style of the positive I have ever seen. I would like someone from Ibis/Accor to contact me please. Occasionally we all make mistakes but for your employee to completely disregard the fact the we were staying in another group hotel say that it didn’t make any difference is not how I perceive Accor/Ibis customer relations attitude to clients. For the record we-then stayed in the Ibis where the staff as always were most courteous and helpful. I look forward to receiving some form of contact soon. Kind regards Malcolm T.. mt… 00 44…15

I received a link to check in remotely but it did not work properly. When I arrived at 10PM at the hotel I could not get into the carpark or the hotel. Luckily after about 30min another guest arrived and I was able to get in. This is not the only bug with the Ibis web service.

The key issue for me is about a noise due to building activities on a floor 2, incl neighbored rooms and a corridor. Why I wasn’t informed in advance about it? I couldn’t have a good rest during my week of vacation as the noise was all around incl metal containers with garbage under my window. Also the colors in my room are different vs the pictures on a website, depressing dark blue and aggressive bright yellow. I would never book a room if I would see real colors in advance.

I recently stayed at this hotel for one night while attending a wedding near Fontainebleau. The hotel was very minimalist and basic but it definitely matched the price, which was very low. I wouldn't want to stay there long term, but if you have a tight budget and want to visit the chateau, this would be a very good option.

We have stayed for many one nights over the years in this hotel as we travel home. We need to sleep because of our long day travelling and the hotel is perfect for this. I should think it would also be good for short stays to visit the Chateau or Paris as it is so near the train station.

The triple room was a bit tight for 3 adults. In other hotels when a triple room is for 3 adults we have had a double and a single bed. Here it was a double and a bunk bed that actually is across the top of the double bed. Not very secure so one of us slept on the floor with the mattress.
