Basic average hotel (Budget Ibis in Paris was much better!) with free parking, near the train station in quiet area. A bit of walking to the city centre or Chateau de Fontainebleau. We had mould in our bathroom. Street lights shining right into our room at night! Staff not speaking English at all. Very basic but fine for just one transit night. Not more.

No hair dryer, kettle in room. Very basic accomodations, only good for short stay. Small tight shower space. 2 bath towels and small mat for floor provided, no hand towels. Wi-fi was fine. Our room overlooked the back parking lot, since the air conditioner was available due due the season, we needed to open the window for cool air. Could hear cars starting/ reving in the morning and night.

We have used this hotel before. Not only is the location perfect for our P., but the staff (notably Julie) are incredibly helpful and pleasant. One of our team had a separate room booking, the staff kindly adjusted the booking so the team member didn't have to change rooms

Ground floor room with a bathroom-toilet combo about the size of a phone booth. Very odd and felt unsanitary. The heating/AC unit did not work but made noise all night. Convenient location for train to/from Paris.

Terrible experience--the bathroom was not clean, toilet seat not attached to the toilet and toilet seemed generally broken. Something was splashed all over the wall in bathroom (your guess is as good as mine, yikes). The gate was broken to get in and we were in very late (around 10pm) but we were fortunate that someone came behind us to go in my the door and open it.

I chose to stay at the Fontainebleu Avon Ibis as it was ideally situated for me to walk from the train station with luggage. During my stay I was able to use the bus service from the nearby depot to visit family in Hericy and also to visit the centre of Fontainebleau. My room was clean, comfortable and air conditioned and an adequate breakfast was available each morning. Thank you for a good stay.

Despite a good location and low expectations of a budget hotel the room was very hot and the air conditioning did not work properly. Fortunately the weather was cooler and the window could be opened to cool the room down. This had unfortunate consequences in that it was noisy, being above the carpark, people were arriving late into the night, talking loudly and smoking. Added to this mosquitos got in the room resulting in bites and I suffer from hayfever and pollen levels were high. Also the hinges on the bathroom door need lubricating as they squek loudly disrupting partner sleep if the bathroom was used during the night. I didn't report any of this as I didn't want maintenance people in our room as we were out most of the day and with no safe we were concerned for our valuables if access was granted. Our room no. was 214

Functional and clean, you get what you pay for although the aircon in our room was broken and dripped all night soaking the floor and making it really hard to fall asleep. No one at reception so couldn’t do anything about it.
