The hotel was fine - no major issues but a few little things. The main one being no hot water - lukewarm showers at best. I could have complained but I could see the hotel was full of guests, so why would they do? Likely nothing. The room was cold and so we asked for extra duvets - this was accommodated for us. The hotel is very far away from the train station and I was under the false impression that the train station was within walking distance. When I asked the staff how far away it was, they said a 20 min walk - this is incorrect and it is a 20 min drive. The hotel is clan but outdated. There is a huge pothole in the car park that you don’t see in the dark/until too late - I drove into it at 11pm at night and was concerned I’d damaged my car or tyres. Beds were comfortable and bar staff were pleasant and friendly.

Nothing like a hot sauna followed by a swim in the outdoor heated pool surrounded by a forest fit for Kings. The staff in Ury made the stay a complete pleasure.

The hotel could benefit from a thorough refurbishment, especially the rooms. They are dated, run-down, and the mattresses were very uncomfortable.
