If a refund were possible, I’d demand it immediately. This was easily the worst night of my entire trip, and one of the worst nights of sleep I’ve ever experienced. The room was a complete furnace with no AC. My only option was a noisy fan that just circulated hot air while rattling like a jet engine. I was stuck choosing between suffocating in the stagnant heat or being kept awake by the deafening noise. I ended up drenched in sweat and completely sleepless. Avoid this place at all costs.

Upon arriving at my room, I discovered that the air conditioning was completely non-functional. With the room temperature reaching nearly 30 degrees Celsius and the windows locked shut so they could not be opened, the conditions were incredibly uncomfortable and frankly unacceptable. When I raised this issue with the reception desk, I was informed that no alternative rooms were available due to the hotel being fully booked. The only solution offered was a "small table fan," which was entirely inadequate for cooling a room of that temperature and made no meaningful difference. As a guest staying within the Accor network, I expected a much higher level of service and problem-solving. Given that Accor operates multiple properties across Antwerp, the absolute minimum expectation would have been an offer to relocate me to a sister hotel where basic amenities like working climate control were available. Instead, I am left to endure an unbearably hot room with no viable solution provided. This experience has been highly frustrating and has seriously made me question my continued loyalty to Accor hotels. I expect a prompt reply to this email outlining how you intend to rectify this situation and compensate for this severe lapse in hospitality.
