In recent years we have often stayed at Adagio (Accor) hotels (Bordeaux, Edinburgh, Rouen etc.) and have been very satisfied. This hotel was an exception. There were several people at the reception who barely even greeted and didn't seem too willing to serve (except for one woman). The peak of it all was when we wanted to have a welcome drink, being silver level loyalty customers. The male officer behaved very rudely. He told us to take something from the fridge and insisted that a couple would only get one 20 cl bottle. We chose sparkling wine. We wanted to enjoy it at the reception, so we asked for glasses. It took him a long time to bring the glasses, he seemed to have something much more important to do. When he finally brought the glasses, we noticed that they were dirty. The man claimed that they were not, said that we behaved badly, and left. After a while, another receptionist brought clean glasses. I have to say that this episode completely ruined what was meant to be a pleasant moment. On top of that, I later found out that according to Accor's instructions, each overnight guest will have their own drink. I went to show the text to the second clerk, he read it, but nothing came of it. The room in itself was ok and the view over the city was nice.

During a 4 night stay I had an issue in the room with a recurring loud beep at random intervals. Reported after the first night and being told that they would look into it. After 3rd night again reported when I found out its the induction cooking plate turning on and off at an instance. I would have preferred if the hotel would give me a solution, instead of doing nothing. Not coming back here.

Clean & modern room with kitchenette. Quiet and great location close to train station. Supermarket opposite. Easy access to tram & a 10 minute brisk walk to the main station. Couldn’t fault anything.
