Great 2 week stay . Lovely staff overall and especially the breakfast. Laundry, plus gym available..Rooms spacious with fridge , freezer, microwave, cooker etc and supermarket is just opposite with chemist as well. Eco friendly hotel so room is serviced weekly. Chilled water machine at reception with books, jigsaws etc. Two levels of safe underground parking is optional if required. I chose a room at rear of hotel as I am a light sleeper and had a great 2 week stay. Five minute walk from Central train station, all the shops and restaurants, buses, zoo etc

Every morning we were woken up by the fire alarm, we were not informed that there would be checks and we had to go down the stairs with the children and after 10 minutes we were told that there was nothing. It's a shame it's a beautiful hotel. There should be more coordination.

The sikn of the bathroom didn’t function propertly the first day. Second day the technician came to fix it but left the sink dirty. We ask for cleaning but nobody came. It was very antihigienic.

Nice room. Spacious. Nice shower. Strange choice of a coffeemachine that uses only 1 kind of special capsules. Above all when you think of the large choice in taste and variation you would get in the supermarket right across the street if the machine was using universal compatible capsules.

Overall ok except for when was unable to get in Saturday morning at 3am after losing my key. After many phone calls and ringing the reception bell, I finally noticed the attendant through the window in the dining area and he let me in. A close call while I was looking for alternative accommodation. The couple checking in after me had to wait 15 mins as the reception desk was abandoned while helping other guests. 1 person is clearly not enough at certain times. It is unclear why my bed was a foldable (Murphy) bed instead of a normal bed. I will stick with Ibis moving forward.

If a refund were possible, I’d demand it immediately. This was easily the worst night of my entire trip, and one of the worst nights of sleep I’ve ever experienced. The room was a complete furnace with no AC. My only option was a noisy fan that just circulated hot air while rattling like a jet engine. I was stuck choosing between suffocating in the stagnant heat or being kept awake by the deafening noise. I ended up drenched in sweat and completely sleepless. Avoid this place at all costs.

Good location with a tram stop right outside the hotel to the Central Station and beyond to the old part of town where there are interesting buildings eg. The Plantin - Moretus Print Museum. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spotlessly clean and there was also a good buffet style breakfast available.
