The check in was a bit bumpy and delayed due to inexperienced front desk staff, but not that much of problem. Got wrongfully charged double with the city tax. At the check out another and more experienced member of the team informed and refunded me. In general I liked the apartment it suited my needs. Bed and bathroom have been clean at least the toilet, shower and sink etc. Toiletseat was still a bit moist so someone was cleaning it very recent before my arrival. The problem was the kitchenette, barely cleaned if at all. Dusty with crumps of food. The fridge was empty but not cleaned, found a blonde hair inside. Traces of previous contents visible. That I told the front desk on my first day. I was promised someone will clean the fridge the next day, no one came. The coffee machine was sticky and felt unclean. Some of the dishes were also not properly cleaned. That I could remedy myself easy and quick with the dishwasher which was good to have. It would be good if the staff would use it as well. A lot of the surfaces, shelfs, cabinets and cupboards have not been dusted throughly in a while, also not under the bed. Dust, dirt and even some hairs remained from previous occupants. The negative highlight was in the microwave although apparently clean, inside was food left apparently forgotten. I have made a picture of it also showed it the front desk. I stayed at the hotel because I choose it for the Darklands festival as one of the host Hotels. I cleaned a lot of the mentioned things myself in the end. I don't understand that before such big events, with a lot of guests. And you have to pay quite a lot for the apartment. There will be no thoroughly cleaning of everything in the apartments! The breakfast was solid and the staff has been helpful and always friendly.

The reception staff is friendly, the appartment is well sound proof, it is well located in the heart of Antwerp. I wish there were a table in the appartment rather that a desk and a coffe table.

The staff is friendly and pleasant. The hotel premises are adequate. The only thing we would criticize is the bed—actually, not a bed, but a sofa bed. It is not very comfortable and is not flat. It's a shame it's not a real bed. And the second thing is that it's impossible to open the window and air out the room (no, the air conditioning isn't sufficient, it's just a poor substitute), or to have access to a balcony where you can dry your laundry. I don't understand the reasons for such a city regulation when the people across the courtyard clearly have access to a balcony.

The hotel is comfortable; however, I would like to note a small issue. During our four‑day stay, the beds were never made and the trash was not collected. Additionally, there is no natural ventilation, as the windows are blocked, which results in a somewhat claustrophobic atmosphere.

Good day, I have been traveling for over 40 years just considering my career, and my feedback takes into account all aspects of your accommodations and services in comparison with standards hat are expected. I have ben using Arcor group for a long time and in fact we have family members who are in the management level in one of your branched s In Germany- Frankfurt. Below is the summary of this trip which is actually repeated several times in the past few months and that is why , it is important for you to review them from a very regular customer. I do not eat outside during my business trips and because of this, hotels with cooking facilities are my only choice and that is why Adagio hotel was ideal for me. 1. Checking in and out- Very good 2. Parking and entrance – Good and user friendly 3. Corridors – Smelly , bad air circulation and no extraction. Floor carpet is also unhygienic. 4. Breakfast- I tried for several months but I stopped due to very simple, rather cheaply prepared, and inadequately fresh . 5. The kitchenet room always has something not working ,missing or broken :- a. Kitchen cutlery and dishes that are so old and cheap that cannot be used hygienically , b. blunt knives, unusable wine opener, damaged potato peelers, mixed cutleries and rather dirty and marked. c. Non workable scissors, broken plates, and bowls, d. Not even any correct set of any regular dishes or cooking pots, frying pan and mostly with damages and exposed unsealed cooking surfaces. e. Bins are completely unsuitable for usage with no lids and too small for someone who stays over 2 nights . f. Electrical facilities, extractor, kettle and coffee makers are too old and rather unsuitable . g. Fridge - freezer sections usually full of frost and old ice cubes_ Mostly also have broken doors to seal them. h. Dishwasher- I always wash all the dishes that can be used upon my arrival . I have experienced several time finding mixed dirty and clean dishes together which I had reported.- 6. Bathroom and toilet a. Broken toilet seats and never sealed with hygiene tape . b. Toilet brush- ?????? What can I say. Extremely unhygienic and truly disgusting. c. Toilet papers . always semi used and just folded back to show that they have been checked. d. Leaky taps and bad drainage in the sink . e. Old and faded towels and floor mats. f. Empty dispensers g. Shower cubical- mouldy and not clean around the edges and glass seals h. Shower head- never works and every position is leaking and no pressure. i. Bins are either broken or damaged . j. No ventilator fitted or functions. k. Hair drier , old, overheated and sticky and not practical to use. 7. Room a. Windows sealed with no opening- This is completely out of question for me. Living in a small 16 m2 room with so many influences such as bathroom and kitchen and a sealed corridor and room, is a source for illness and bacteria. b. Curtains – No comments . I tend not to use or touch them. c. Tables and chairs – too close to the small TV and therefore only suitable to be watched from the bed . d. Rooms are badly laid out with cabinets and units spread across the whole area which makes it almost unpractical when your clothing is kept along the kitchen area and with a very mall worktop. e. TV- too old, small, and never works with apps that must be connected via smart view or cast or other mirroring systems. I have seen both missing remotes, and batteries f. One large seat and small sticky coffee table which can not be used for anything in such small area. g. Bed – comfortable and clean- So far, I have never found any issues. ( Under the bed, I can not see due to very complex bed frame and set up.) So overall, these are my points gathered together from Jun 2025 to Jan 2026. I have stayed 13 times with average 3 nights each time. I have a Gold status and therefore, very keen to see how my situation can be improved . I am sure, many of the property issues are caused by unsuitable customers that damage, take or misuse items in the room. But the equipment facility management and check in housekeeping standard is the responsibility of the hotelier only. Pending suitable management systems and control processes , the situation could be significantly improved whilst the irregular customers with problems must be gradually discouraged to return. Otherwise, this will cost the biggest downturn of your regular customers . At present, do not intend to return to Adagio hotel in Antwerp again because of all the issues and in particular the closed room situation I also suggest that, if you do not recognise my comments , or you do not believe in them. Please take a chance and stay in different rooms for at least 3 nights and check your experiences by yourself. I have stayed 180 nights in Belgium last year and Adagio was almost 22% of the total period. In 2020 and 2021 I stayed for almost 16 months in Mercure City South during Covid in the Honeymoon Suite without any real issues. It was 30 nights per month. The windows were also unopenable but due to size of the room, and that I was alone in the hotel for over 6 months and that the cleaning took place twice a week the situation was manageable.
