The rooms are tired, the staff are functional but not friendly and the location is not great. Advertised facilities like the outdoor pool are chargeable and the hotel prefers to look after outside guests/weddings/parties rather then paying clients.

Dwayne the Duty Manager was good and did service recovery quickly after his staff, Jay, did a poor job in managing guest’s check-in. Jay allowed early check-in for other customers and claimed they were platinum members in which he failed to see that I am also platinum member. It wasted 4-5 hours of our time. Dwayne apologies and offered us Altitude Pool Lounge access throughout the stay but we only utilized 1 day as we preferred to be heading out. Asked for something else but there wasn’t.

Ok at best. Would not consider this a 5 star hotel at all. When checking in, I mentioned to the staff I was here to celebrate the birthday of my guest. Staff just replied ok and moved on. Toilet floor would get flooded everyone someone took a shower. Breakfast buffet’s selection was lacking in variety. Selection barely changed in the 3 days I stayed. Lifts were malfunctioning all the time. Lift door couldn’t close. Buttons malfunctioning. Lift stopping midway with selected floor getting deselected. Had credits for bar by the pool but staff were having lunch so no one was manning the bar so we had to forego the drinks.
