Very disappointed for the money paid. Although the hotel is new, the room looks tired, and overused, couple things in the room didn't work, air-conditioning, no hot water at some times, only the toilet phone working, power socket in thw bathroom not working, however the bed!! One of the best sleep I had in a hotel!! Felt like we were in a wrong place, I am not a racist but, the hotel personel ( reception and restaurant) should speak English before judging and taking us for Russians. We felt like we are the only European people in the hotel and doesn't belong to the place, beside the spa personel, which was fantastic from reception to massage therapist - thank you! The food selection huge, but only average (beautiful lentil soup and foccacia). The birds sitting on top the bakery station was a big no for us. We were expecting something better from the 5 star hotel and for this money! Overall experience very poor. This is not what we were expecting being in the Qatar. I will definitely come back but to a different hotel.

Hotel is beautiful, staff extremely friendly and attentive. The only negative experience was in the main dining room. Food was fine and a good selection however it was more like a crèche. Children running around playing games whilst people are carrying hot food. Poor behaviour going unchallenged by parents or staff. It wasn’t a relaxing experience at all.

Unfortunately, my experience at your hotel was poor from the very first night. Upon check-in, a front desk employee of Turkish nationality completed the reservation and assured us that our requests would be handled. It was clearly agreed that the room would be changed and that I would be provided with a double bed. However, the following day I was surprised to be informed by another front desk employee that no rooms were available. After a long discussion, a supervisor—her name I believe is Dana, of Jordanian or Palestinian nationality—was called. At this point, the situation became significantly worse. She responded in an unprofessional manner and made no real effort to assist or find a solution. I was left with only one option: to leave the hotel. Moreover, my room was locked, and I was not even able to enter it, despite the fact that I had planned to stay until the end of my reservation based on the promises made by the previous employee. By coincidence, I later met Ibrahim. After explaining the situation to him, he managed to resolve the issue within just 20 minutes. It turned out that a double-bed room was indeed available, ready for check-in, and with a much better view than the previous room. This raises serious concerns. I do not understand whether this is the standard way guests are treated, whether rooms with better views are allocated based on certain criteria, or whether guests are asked to leave under the claim that no rooms are available—only for rooms to suddenly become available within minutes, which happened in the short time between my conversation with Dana and meeting Ibrahim. Overall, this experience has left a very negative impression and will strongly affect my decision to return to this hotel, whether in Qatar or in Turkey. I sincerely hope this matter is not ignored and that I receive a proper response and follow-up from your management team.
