We really enjoyed our stay and truly appreciate everything about the hotel. From the moment we checked in, Adam from the Front Office was very welcoming, helpful, and informative. He assisted us throughout our arrival and made us feel very comfortable. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. We would have loved to stay on a higher floor to enjoy the view, as our room was on the first floor, but we still enjoyed everything about our stay especially the pool and the Meryal Pass. We would also like to mention Bonface, who assisted us at the restaurant during breakfast. He was very attentive and provided excellent service, which made our breakfast experience even more enjoyable. Hopefully, next time we can stay a little longer, as one night was definitely not enough to fully enjoy and relax in your beautiful hotel. We truly look forward to coming back again!

Pros: The hotel is clean, and the location is excellent, especially for visiting Marassi Waterpark, which is only about a 5-minute walk away. The buffet offers a good variety of food, and the quality is generally very good. I also found the All-Inclusive package to be worth the price. It covers all three meals at the International buffet, as well as the food truck by the pool, which offers fast food options such as burgers, chicken nuggets for children, quesadillas, and hot dogs. It also includes the poolside bar, offering ice cream, mocktails, and canned juices. The in-room minibar is also included and replenished once daily. The room itself was clean and spacious. Cons / Major Complaint: Unfortunately, the service from the reception staff was extremely disappointing. There was a clear lack of customer care, communication, and willingness to address guests’ concerns. I initially requested a room on a higher floor because the view from my assigned room was significantly obstructed by the hotel’s rooftop. Although the reception staff repeatedly promised to look into moving me to a higher floor, these promises were never followed up on and ultimately felt like empty assurances. However, the most unacceptable issue occurred the following morning. I woke up to find workers carrying out work directly next to my balcony without any prior warning or notification whatsoever. We had deliberately left the curtains fully open to enjoy natural daylight, and suddenly having workers right outside the balcony created an extremely uncomfortable situation, not to mention the significant noise and stress it caused. This is not simply a matter of inconvenience. It is a serious privacy issue. Guests should absolutely be informed in advance if maintenance or construction work is going to take place directly outside their room or balcony. What made the situation even more disappointing was the way reception handled my complaint. When I reported the issue, I expected the matter to be taken seriously, especially given the clear privacy concern. Instead, I was simply told that a manager/responsible person would contact me. No one ever did. This lack of follow-up was extremely frustrating and gave me the impression that my complaint was simply ignored. Based on this experience, I strongly advise guests to avoid rooms on the first floor, as privacy can apparently be compromised without any prior warning. The hotel has several positive aspects, particularly its cleanliness, location, food, and All-Inclusive offering. However, the poor handling of guest complaints and the complete lack of consideration regarding privacy seriously affected my overall experience. I expect a hotel of this standard to demonstrate much better communication, professionalism, and respect for its guests.

Check-in and check out was really smooth. The rooms were comfortable and the dishes at the restaurant really yummy, our kids loved it. However, we were really disappointed by the staff at the pool side bar. We booked for an all inclusive experience, and a specific staff named Seifedin was rude to our kids every time they would go ask for an ice cream or a drink, acting very annoyed at them. Then the second day, before we left the pool, at exactly 11.56 my son asked me if he could go get a Diet Coke, I said yes. Seifedin told him “no it’s closed, it’s too late”, even though we were told we could have drinks until 12. I found it very pity to ruin the end of the experience for a soft drink. His manager Alami backed him up stating that they can’t put our room number on the system, even though we saw them never putting our room number in the system during our stay and orders from the pool bar. Despite a really nice overall stay, their attitude towards us and our kids disappointed us greatly!

I had. An accident in the water park the tanning chair randomly just closed on my finger and bleeding and big cuts they couldn’t even call an ambulance, the paramedic did his best to clean and close the wound i called my brother to come, had 5 stitches on one finger and the other 3 stitches.

We had a wonderful stay at Rixos Premium Qetaifan Island North Doha. Overall, we really enjoyed our time there. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. We only had a few comments for improvement. The waterpark was not at its best during our visit, as some of the rides and attractions were not operating. Also, the beach could have been cleaner and would benefit from more regular maintenance. Nevertheless, these points did not prevent us from having a great time, and overall we really enjoyed our stay. We would definitely consider coming back again, and we hope to see these areas improved in the future.
