Room is clean new and modern. my biggest concern was the food especially Lunch and Dinner. there are verity types of food but I would not say that food is delicious, taste is below decent comparing to other rixos.

the hotel is great and the service was ok except for some incidents which it was new to me in my entire life staying in 5 star hotels, 1- i was staying in another hotel and it was old and far away from family activities attractions so i drove to this hotel and when i arrived i asked for room, the receptionist looked shocked and called someone how did a reservation through the phone. awkward but it is ok 2- when i registered and paid i was told i can check in at 3pm and it was 1 pm and with smile she said i told you you will have your room at 3pm which wasnt true. and the booking applications are filled with vacant rooms. 3- she offered nicely that we can spend those 2 hours by the pool and i asked if we can access the waterpark and again things went awkward she said you can use the access once per day of your stay so if im checking out tomorrow i cant access the waterpark again. so we choose to go the next day since it closes 5pm. 4- hotel residents have wrist band where they get beverages for free in the pool bar and i was not offered one and i paid for it while we were waiting for our room. 5- we got the room 3:40pm and i had once of the funniest discussion with a hotel receptionist in 20 years. at 3 pm i went to him and asked for the keys and he replied "it isnt ready yet" i asked why he said some of their guests check out late, normally i would say "on my expense?" surprisingly he said yes. so i told him here you should apologize and start offering compensations the answer was "sure when we give you the room" again i said "no it doesn't work this way, you offer now" long story short, i got late check out looool. 6- had a great night at the hotel comfy beds and quiet night with premium pillows. at the morning we went to have breakfast again awkward moment, when we were entering a lady asked us if we are staying in the hotel i said yes she asked for our room number. to me it is fine till i noticed people are entering without anyone asking them and here i said "what about these people entering without being asked" she ignored me and said "your room number" i gave her the room number she was holding a 1928 guest list and writing on it with prisoner like strike counting looooooooooooool. i was laughing then she said you can enter, the cuisine was delicious and the variation a true 5 star hotel. 7- my children decided to go the the open pool till the waterpark opens and i learned my listen and went to the reception again to get the hand bands, the awkwardness there every time. me" Hello" in English the lady "hello how i can help you" in Arabic, me " we did not get the hand bands" the lady "your room number", me again telling the room number it was in second floor so i said 2 and my room number she said not it is 4 digits so i said 20 then my room number she said no we dont have 20 only 22 if you are staying in second floor.. i mean why a guest would waste 5 minutes arguing with hotel staff about how they numbered their floors, anyway she found my room and said you need the bands i said yes to access the waterpark and get water in the pool bar, she said you can access the park and wait you upgraded your room? and she started to ask and answer herself while im watching then volllllaaaa she said you are upgraded here your bands. i was like am i being pranked in this hotel? "btw every guest in the hotel has it" 8- went to the waterpark finally and had great time and again awkward moments, by the wave pool i was watching my kids and smoking on our spot some guy came and said you cant smoke here i said we are literally in open area and no sign saying no smoking he said you can smoke there and pointed to the kids water area and said here family section????? i was laughing and said this is the kids area you want me to smoke there????? then he said yes this is the smoking area and left. so i quitted smoking that day thanks to rixos and their staff. 9- when we were going back to the room to shower and leave to saudi arabia the manager talked to me she was nice and said we want you to be comfortable i do appreciate this but im 10 minutes from departing. verdict: clean nice hotel and kids friendly " except the smoking dispute" but their staff are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay under-trained for 5 star hotel. at least the ones i delt with. and dont wait them to offer you things or tell you what is your gadgets you ask for it and never take a no as an answer because you we will get the "oooh you are right here you go sir". would i stay again, yes because my children loved it but next time i will spend more time having fun with the staff as im fine with this attitude just didnt expect it from such hotel but next time im ready and game on.

I had a wonderful three-night stay at Rixos. A big thank you to the reception, concierge, and housekeeping teams for their excellent service, professionalism, and quick response. The check-in and check-out were smooth, and the staff were always friendly and helpful. My only concern was the restaurant service. The service could be faster, and some tables were left unclean for too long. Plates, glasses, and cutlery were not always available, and on a few occasions I had to ask staff several times or get the cutlery myself. I also noticed some cleanliness issues with plates and glasses as well as the glasses smells The children’s food options were also quite limited, and I would appreciate seeing more choices added. Overall, it was a great stay, and I hope the management considers these comments as constructive feedback to further improve the dining experience. I would definitely be happy to return.

We loved it but the biggest problem was that there isn’t enough sun loungers or parasols to escape the blazing sunshine. Not enough at all for the amount of guests. The beach was the same. Only three loungers had parasols and the rest of the beds didn’t even have cushions on them.

We love that the hotel is very child friendly and it has an all inclusive option so you don’t have to worry about the kid’s getting hungry out of regular hours. I just hope the pool hours are a bit more flexible or extended especially since checkin is at 3pm and the pool is only until 6pm. We were even asked out of the pool as early as 5:30 PM. It closes early and opens late. We were also not able to utilise the complementary Meryal Water Park on the first day because it also closes at 6pm. I hope you will give an option to use the Meryal access on the last day of it was not used on the first day. Otherwise we had a lovely stay.

Everything was good. However, I would prefer if you have suites with one or two bedrooms, which suits more for family. I didn’t know that you have villas. This supposed to be noticed by the reservation staff when I called to book.

Visited for a weekend with friends and family on an all-inclusive package, including waterpark access. The waterpark is excellent. The best we've been to. The variety of slides is awesome and the high thrill slides are on another level. Didn't ever get too busy and minimal queuing which is always a bonus. The only feedback, go easy on the full volume banging techno music first thing in the morning. The hotel is modern, stylish and bright, the rooms are large enough for a family. The staff are great - welcoming and friendly. The pool(s) area is decent. It feels like it lacks a bit of greenery and there's a distinct lack of loungers for such a large hotel. The outdoor bar has a seating area adjacent which feels kind of stranded, rather than a venue. The hard close at 5.30pm, exactly when you want to relax with a sundowner having spent the whole day in the waterpark, was also unexpected. We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner in the main Turquoise Restaurant. It was good, but not excellent. It felt like catering to a budget, which I presume was because most guests were on package trips. As an overall package, the waterpark definitely helps make this place a compelling choice and I'm sure we will go back.

Overall a lovely stay. Only issues we had was a lack of information being provided at the right time which meant we missed out and didn’t understand how some aspects worked around the hotel. Staff were very friendly but I think overall there needs to be consistent information provided at check in and generally. We were given conflicting information on a couple of occasions which led to confusion around what services we had access to etc. A small and easy improvement to make. Beside that we loved the hotel, the waterpark was great and the staff were all very friendly. Special mention for Osama int he Turquoise restaurant for his exceptional and friendly service everytime we met him.

We really enjoyed our stay and truly appreciate everything about the hotel. From the moment we checked in, Adam from the Front Office was very welcoming, helpful, and informative. He assisted us throughout our arrival and made us feel very comfortable. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. We would have loved to stay on a higher floor to enjoy the view, as our room was on the first floor, but we still enjoyed everything about our stay especially the pool and the Meryal Pass. We would also like to mention Bonface, who assisted us at the restaurant during breakfast. He was very attentive and provided excellent service, which made our breakfast experience even more enjoyable. Hopefully, next time we can stay a little longer, as one night was definitely not enough to fully enjoy and relax in your beautiful hotel. We truly look forward to coming back again!
