Although the waterpark tickets were included in our stay, it was not really worth it, as half or more than half of the rides were closed. The hours of operation are very short too. The hotel itself has a lovely ambience, good food, and great staff, but is not 5 star. There is no turndown service, our room was not serviced on one of the days despite requesting it, the bathroom is dimly lit and room space a bit small for the cost. The room was also missing curtain netting, the curtains did not even close properly on the corners so once the sun rises its very bright and difficult to sleep in. Strangely, hookah smoking is allowed at the kids pool, so there was smoke going directly to my child whilst she was swimming. The music is terribly loud and inappropriate across the hotel and waterpark, it causes a headache and one wonders how they decided to do that. There is no quiet space to relax due to this, as it is blasting noisy music everywhere. The male spa facilities were average, the steam room had a terrible stink and the jacuzzi jets and bubbles didn't work. There also no towels available and the changing facilities are inconvenient needing to take a lift from the wet area whilst dripping to the floor above to shower and change - poorly planned.

We travelled to Qatar primarily for the F1, we chose this hotel based on the proximity to the track, the board basis of all inclusive and the all round great value for money. I had seen some negative reviews ahead of travelling so was a little unsure of what our experience may be. The facilities in the hotel are brilliant, three swimming pools, a water park, outdoor and indoor gym with a spa. The wider site is under construction so the facilities and restaurants will no doubt amplify. The food was great with plenty of choices included in All Inclusive. We particularly enjoyed the Brasserie De La Mer set menu. We also dined in the Steakhouse whilst there but it didn’t completely meet our expectations. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. Nothing was too much trouble and we would definitely return for a holiday.
