I had a very disappointing experience and will not be returning. The kids’ club was closed, and the alternative that was available was extremely small and completely unsuitable for children. The food was below expectations, and the service throughout our stay was poor. At peak check-in time, there were only two front desk agents, resulting in long delays. Nobody answered the phone when we called from our room, and to make matters worse, we were assigned the wrong rooms and had no choice but to accept them. There were also construction or maintenance workers making loud noise until 12:00 AM, which made it impossible to relax or sleep. They were also very rude. Overall, there were many issues during our stay, and even the staff did not seem willing or able to resolve them. This was far below the standard we expected. I will not be coming back, and unfortunately, I cannot recommend this hotel.

Upon my departure, the front desk agent completely failed to inform or remind me about my items stored in the safety/luggage department. In any 5-star hospitality standard, linking stored items to the room's profile upon check-out is a basic procedure. This clear oversight from your reception team directly caused me to leave the property without retrieving my item. To make matters worse, when I called the hotel after arriving home, I was told that Rixos refuses to take responsibility for this internal mistake and that I must cover the international shipping costs to Kuwait myself.
