Stay was amazing! The room and service is beyond beautiful. The service and staff go out of their way. I have stayed at the property many times before and will continue coming.

Our stay was exceptional. The staff was very professional and hospitable starting from the management, concierge, and the butler. This hotel not only prestigious but provided exceptional hospitality makes you feel like home. Special appreciation to Mr. Abbas the butler who wowed us with his prestigious hospitality and elegance. Nice room, visually very pleasing, nice tv set up and a good lounge area. Bathroom was beautiful but there was a horrible smell from the toilet. The drainage system in the shower room was weird, the water would never go and apparently has to be physically done by a cleaner. Felt like we kept getting disturbed with random knocks whether it’s for housekeeping or random visits. We ordered room service a few times and those visits were fine, the staff are extremely lovely and very helpful. I know customer service expectations are super high in a place like raffles but, sometimes the best experiences are ones where my door isn’t knocked every 2 hours The breakfast options are a bit limited and in all honestly, not that great. Gym facility was amazing, the sauna area was great!

No doubt, the main gimmick of this hotel is the epic architecture & views over Doha. Unfortunately, like a double-edge sword, it might provide a false sense of entitlement on other services & facilities (listed below) - Knowledge sharing within the staff - while the head butler has told us we could quickly visit Acoustic Music Penthouse on the rooftop to make some pictures & called us an elevator there, the staff member at the entry insisted that any length entry with the baby is prohibited - because it's "membership club". I understand there are policies, but they can also reflect the practical reality (it was during the opening, so barely any guests were present). We had no such issues in the other hotels we've stayed in Doha. - Weak window soundproofing - we had a loud couple of neighours hanging out on a balcony during late times, fortunately they've understood our situation with a sleeping baby girl & collaborated. - No windows in fast-moving elevators - in combination with the dark walls gives you an ear clogging effect. - No indoor pools - their Spa representative recommended taking a buggy to the neighbouring Faimont hotel. These are all minor issues, but there was another one that ruined our whole impression & experience. We're a parent couple of young toddler - so our main focus is currently on her, rather than remembering all the possible details about the hotel. That's why we pay extra for such hotels - to make sure the staff could assist us correctly in case we miss something. Unfortunately, we've mistaken the Malaki Lounge with the breakfast area. We've already paid for our breakfast during the room booking, so we've basically paid for it twice. There are no signs of a Malaki Lounge being a separate thing - it's literally just a lounge on the ground floor near the reception. I strongly remember asking their staff member explicitly - "Is this breakfast included in the room?", and she nodded. Then we all had a surprise moment when they've presented us a bill after. I've escalated this to the manager and to my surprise, she was completely defensive of their staff - mentioning she answered my question "correctly in general sense" and brushing it off as "miscommunication". I didn't want to waste more time on this and decided to close the bill, but then the most ridiculous moment happenned - she started chasing me & my family almost yelling "OH SIR BUT YOU SHOULDN'T FEEL UPSET ABOUT THIS" - never experience such a blunt behaviour in a places like this. I've mentioned all of this during the checkout at the reception desk - and they've made a (false) promise to help, but hinting that I've closed the bill with basically a separate entity, so they can't do much.
