Upon arrival, I was informed that my hotel reservation had been moved to another property due to overbooking. While I was able to spend part of my stay at the original hotel, this change was inconvenient. I would like to acknowledge the excellent service provided by Kami (Manager) and Tanjil (Driver), who were both very helpful during my stay. Unfortunately, my experience was negatively impacted by having to relocate to the adjacent Fairmont hotel on the fourth night of my five-night stay. Surprisingly, my time at the Fairmont was more enjoyable than at Raffles. Additionally, my final night at Raffles was disrupted by a last-minute party at the hotel, which caused significant noise and affected my sleep and enjoyment of the suite. Although the suite itself was comfortable, these issues overshadowed my overall experience. I believe more could have been done by the hotel to address these concerns. Given these circumstances, I am unlikely to stay at this hotel again or recommend it to colleagues. For my upcoming trip to the Qatar F1 Race in 2026, I will be considering alternative accommodation. Regrettably, what should have been the highlight of my trip turned out to be disappointing. Overall - I would rate my experience as a 2 out 10 (would have been a zero had it not been for the excellent service by the staff).

The hotel is stunning, luxurious, and elegant in every way. I genuinely appreciate the warmth and professionalism shown throughout my stay. My experience at Raffles Doha was extremely unpleasant. The staff were consistently rude, and I felt like I was being watched the entire time. The restaurants were also underwhelming, and there was loud construction every morning at 9am that woke us up. Even the music at the pool was loud you can hear it from the room. I was spoken to rudely at the buffet because I was wearing three-quarter shorts that reached my knees. No one wants to feel judged or self-conscious about their clothing at the hotel they’re paying to stay in. I ended up checking out two days early because I couldn’t tolerate it anymore. I was promised a refund for the unused nights, but I still haven’t received it, which is completely unprofessional. Don’t be fooled by the TikToks and advertising — the hotel is nowhere near what it claims to be. Even the building has issues: the shower made a loud noise every time it turned on, and the shower light didn’t work. Overall, it was an unpleasant stay. Never again.
