The rooms are very beautiful and exceptionally clean. The housekeeping service was outstanding, and the lobby itself is very nice. The staff were generally friendly. However, our overall experience was disappointing. The rooftop pool (heated pool and heated jacuzzi with a beautiful view) was closed for five consecutive days without any prior notice. When we arrived at the pool area in our bathing suits we were informed on-site that we could not enter due to an event. Only later did we learn that the pool had been closed for maintenance. There is a pool on the lower deck, but it is not heated, despite staff stating that it was. Additionally, there is no sun at this pool after 1:00 PM, which significantly limits its usability. After submitting a complaint, the front desk informed us that we would receive a “surprise” as compensation. We left our room around 7:00 PM (as they requested) and returned at 10:00 PM, but nothing had been provided. We were told this was forgotten due to the event and that management would follow up with us. Despite staying three more nights after this promise, management never contacted us. During our six-night stay, the hotel hosted multiple events, including a wedding, which made the lobby extremely crowded and chaotic. There was little attention given to hotel guests, and elevator wait times were excessively long. It felt as though the hotel prioritized non-guests attending events over paying guests staying at the property. Due to these issues and the lack of follow-up from management, I was not satisfied with my stay and would not recommend this hotel.

We were excited at first, but the service was poor and management was unresponsive. I considered leaving the hotel, but finding an alternative was difficult since the deposit had already been paid.

We’ve stayed at this raffles before and other raffles and we’re honestly appalled by the staff and service. Michelin restaurant staff was incredibly unprofessional. We were sat by the kitchen and could hear the staff watching television in the kitchen. Staff was untrained and un knowledgeable. When I asked about the $200 bottle of wine we ordered, the waiter simply said - it’s a dry red wine. We had numerous issues with our laundry service. We were never given a butler and even when I mentioned we had no point of contact, we were still not given a butler. When our bottle of wine we ordered never came after calling 3 times along with a room service order for a beer not coming- I went down to speak to someone at the front desk. He followed up and told me he would look for the night manager to talk to me. I told him it was late, and I didn’t want to speak to anyone else that evening and to call in the morning. Regardless the night manager called anyways. I told him I was going to bed and to have someone call me in the morning. In the morning there was zero follow up. No manager called. After more issues - we called to talk to someone and the head butler came up. My husband conveyed all our issues. Meanwhile another manager called on the phone. I told her we don’t want to rehash everything again and to speak to the head butler to have him fill her in. My husband and I are starting a new luxury travel agency and honesty, I would never send a client to this Raffles. You’d think after all the issues we had something would have been done. All that was done was the manager left her card along with a toiletry bad and some luggage tags. Lame.

This is by far the best hotel experience in Qatar 🇶🇦 from the moment of check in with mr.Kamil ans ms.Marilu they welcomed me and help me with my check in + upgraded my room to another category sftrrthey showed me the room and explained all the facilities inside the hotel .
