The Hotel was exceptional and the staff was extremely friendly. We attended for our anniversary and the staff remembered this and gave us a sea view upgraded room which was not expected. The front staff was exception and so was the staff inside also.
We used valet parking and because we were staying for a week, the front door staff remembered us which had that personal touch which made it comfortable and made us feel at home. The valet knew we would come back in the afternoon and leave in the evening so he even gave us the option to leave the car at the front as he knew we would be going out again. The small details made it memorable.
The only feedback I would advise is the foodservice at the pool.
The first time we ordered food and drinks, it took nearly 40 minutes for the drinks to arrive and nearly 50 minutes for the food. I ordered shisha after I had ordered the food 20 minutes and it all came at once. I had to chase a couple of times also.
The staff at the pool were very friendly and no faults in that aspect but it just took a while. After we had left, my cousin stayed the following day and they had similar experience so that’s the only improvement I would suggest.

Overall its good however there are some things needs to improve. First the toilet bowl cover opens half only, and when my friend got up in the room the receptionist called to bring the id for scanning but during the check in both ids were given to staff and they scanned both. And few hours after checkin when we went outside and when we get back they do make up the room which we not requested. Overall its good.

I am an ALL Gold member and a frequent visitor to Doha. I booked Fairmont Doha for a leisure stay with my family, including my 3-month-old baby and my 5-year-old child. Unfortunately, what should have been an enjoyable stay turned into a very disappointing experience.
The room I was initially given had insects inside, which honestly shocked me, especially considering that this is a luxury hotel and a fully enclosed building. My biggest concern was not simply seeing insects, but the fact that I had a 3-month-old baby and a young child with me. If either of them had been bitten or had suffered any reaction, who would have taken responsibility?
I regularly stay at luxury hotels in Doha, including Park Hyatt Msheireb, Mandarin Oriental and The Ritz-Carlton, and I have never experienced an issue like this. As a regular visitor to Doha, this gave me a very poor first impression of Fairmont and unfortunately affected my entire experience.
I also found it disappointing that I had to continue following up on my complaint before the matter was properly addressed. However, I would like to specifically thank Mr. Issa, the Duty Manager, who eventually contacted me and handled the situation professionally. He apologized and arranged a larger suite as compensation for what happened, and I genuinely appreciate his effort and the way he dealt with me.
Nevertheless, upgrading the room after such an incident does not completely erase the experience, particularly when the concern involved the safety and comfort of my very young children. As an ALL Gold member who chose Fairmont expecting the standards associated with the brand, I believe some additional goodwill compensation would be appropriate for the inconvenience, stress and disappointing experience we went through.
I came to Doha for tourism and relaxation with my family, not to spend my stay worrying about room hygiene and repeatedly following up on a complaint. Unfortunately, despite Mr. Issa’s excellent handling of the situation, this experience has left me seriously hesitant to return to Fairmont Doha.
I hope Fairmont and ALL will review my case properly and offer appropriate compensation or loyalty points as a gesture of goodwill and to restore my confidence in the brand.

The service was quite disappointing from check in to check out. We booked for the hala summer package in which we could get check in at 11:00AM subject to availability. So its basic to let us know if its available. Whe were in the middle of the road with family and kids cuz we didnt get any update on the available check in time even after trying the reception for more than 10 times. It took around 2 hrs to get an update that the check in is only available at 3:00pm. Also the room service was very disappointing. We had to call around 2-3 times for everything we wanted and had too much delay. The pool was also discoloured. Not to the standards of fairmont. Overall it was disappointing

The moment i arrived i was welcomed sincerely. My room was amazing and I had everything I needed provided to me. The staff were amazing and looked after me. Especially the girls during breakfast time, hajjra and a Aman, I think. I only experienced one downfall, which was on my 3rd day in the morning. My room was making a lot of noise disturbance.Which scared me as it was at seven 7.30am in the morning. It felt like someone was going to break into my room.It was that loud the noises. I contacted hotel management explained what happened as it disturbed my sleep and disturbed me.And what they did for me was they upgraded me to an amazing suite for the inconvenience. I did not expect this and I thoroughly enjoyed the remainder of my stay in a beautiful upgraded room. I am planning to come back in November and hoping to come back to Fairmont again.I will speak to mohamed the hotel manager staff manager to see if there is availability for the same room on the twentieth floor for me.

We came for our honeymoon stay, paid for sea view. Got a small balcony looking hardly at any sea. No locks on doors, middle room door wouldnt shut properly, no locks on bathrooms/showerdoors. Had to put a noise complain in after they started varnishing the flooring on next doors balcony. No prior warning given. They sent security who did nothing and said they would escalate to manager but had no correspondence since. Utterly disappointed ruined the trip.

The experience was superb, as usual. The hotel was excellent, with amazing rooms—especially the One-Bedroom Gold Room, which was absolutely superb. The staff were also fantastic, very friendly, attentive, and always willing to support and help.
The only disappointment was that the main Gold amenities were temporarily closed for renovation, including the Gold Pool and Gold Lounge. The spa was also closed during our stay. This was the only real disadvantage and did affect the overall experience.
Check-in was smooth and efficient; however, the room was only ready at around 3:00 pm, which was understandable as it was the weekend and the hotel was very busy.
Overall, it was still a great experience, and the excellent service and room quality made the stay very enjoyable.
