The moment I walked into the hotel, I was greeted by impeccably polite staff and extremely helpful. I only stayed for the one night but it was very easy to tell that this was an exceptionally good hotel with impeccable standards

I was very surprised how huge is the floor where the SPA is located, however the actual SPA was very small, and only had 14 beds by the pool. I spend about 2 hours in the area and I observed how many people came and left frustrated, because there was no availability of the bed. For a hotel that has hundreds of rooms, this just isnt enough. Than there was a problem with the door to the outside jacuzzi area. The door by the wall is most likely an emergency door, many people used it, so I went out that way as well. To my horror, I was not able to get back in, even with a use of my room key I kept in the bathrobe. So I had to bang on the doors and than another guest opened the door for me. I observed similar problem with other people as well, they weren't able to get back in, temperature outside was minus 2. As for the room, it is nice, but I did not sleep well. There is way too many switches and devices in the room producing a light even when all the light are off. Plus there are 2 bedside small lamps by the floor and I was not able to turn them off at all so I covered them with a pillow. There was constant noise from the air-conditioning vent, eventhough I switched the air-condition fully off. I slept maybe 5 hours in total, not a good nights sleep at all.

The Fairmont Golden Prague is one of the single best hotels I’ve ever stayed at in my years of travel. The location is perfect for exploring Prague. The amenities are amazing.
