Beautifully renovated hotel with lovely staff who did amazing job during our stay. Unfortunately we woke up in the middle of the night because our room was extremely hot, the thermostat on the wall was set to 18,5 which was the lowest possible setting, but anyway our room was extremely warm so we had very bad sleep. In this hotel category, we expect temperature regulation to be working and spot on. Apart from this, we have enjoyed our stay.

We stayed at this hotel for four nights. The hotel looks nice in terms of design and appearance; however, the service was extremely poor, especially customer service. On one of the days, after visiting the spa, I lost my diamond necklace. I immediately reported this to the spa staff and later followed up with the concierge. Unfortunately, no one showed any real concern or professionalism. I spent an entire day following up, and no one ever contacted me or informed me whether the necklace was found or not. There was a complete lack of care, responsibility, and communication. On the day of check-out, we arranged with the staff to assist with our luggage. Unexpectedly, our flight was canceled due to bad weather, and I informed the staff that we might need to extend our stay. Later, a different staff member knocked and entered our room within seconds, without giving us enough time to respond. At that moment, I was not properly covered. This behavior was extremely inappropriate and a serious violation of guest privacy. Overall, the service at this hotel was very disappointing. There is no care or support when guests face issues, yet when it comes to payments, the hotel is very strict and quick to act. The quality of service is extremely poor, and this experience will not be repeated. I have stayed at Fairmont hotels around the world, and this was by far the worst Fairmont experience I have ever had.

We recently stayed at the Fairmont Golden Prague, and the experience stayed with us long after we left. From the very first moment, the atmosphere felt welcoming and sincere. The doorman, Turhan Ustun, made both our arrival and departure special with his genuine warmth, professionalism, and thoughtful conversation. He truly represents what real hospitality should feel like. The front office team was excellent—efficient, professional, and genuinely kind. Our room was beautiful, the view was a highlight, and housekeeping kept everything perfectly maintained throughout our stay. Breakfast at the Kafka Restaurant was consistently excellent, with a generous selection and fresh, well-prepared dishes—there was always something new to try. We also attended the Christmas dinner at Kafka Brasserie, which was a wonderful evening. The food was beautifully prepared, and Hatice Seckin welcomed us with such warmth that we immediately felt comfortable. Dining at Greenhouse left a strong impression as well—especially the Slow Cooked Beef Short Ribs, which we would gladly return for. Golden Eye deserves special mention as well. The combination of the view and the food creates a truly memorable experience. The Sesame Grilled Salmon was perfectly cooked, soft, and full of flavor—we still remember it. We also tried several sushi options, and all of them were fresh and very well prepared. You can feel the passion behind the food, and Head Chef Numan Seckin and his team deserve real credit for creating dishes that leave a lasting impression. The Spa & Wellness experience was equally impressive. The Vitality Deep Tissue Massage was deeply relaxing and professionally delivered. Spa Manager Rüya Karagöz deserves recognition for maintaining such a calm, professional, and high-quality environment. Overall, the Fairmont Golden Prague offers something rare—hospitality that feels genuine, thoughtful, and deeply human, all in an exceptional location. Coming from a hospitality background, I truly appreciate the level of care, consistency, and sincerity shown throughout our stay. We will absolutely return to the Fairmont Golden Prague.

Excellent staff; professional and engaged. Good location and many aspects of the hotel very nice indeed (gym and spa for example), and the quality of the refit is high. However, “dog friendly” extends only to the bedroom and the bar/lobby area downstairs. That seemed more “barely tolerant” to us. Further, the lobby area is expansive and cold both in atmosphere and temperature, the latter aspect a consequence of the large external doors constantly opening and closing. The room (a Signature King) was well finished and stylish, but felt very small for an advertised 38m2. A lot of space is taken by the walk-in wardrobe. Bathroom is nicely fitted but I missed a bidet and a second sink. We are regulars to Prague since it’s my wife’s home city; and for this weekend we were keen to try the Fairmont over our other key choice, the Mandarin Oriental. Frankly we were disappointed and chose not to extend to a fourth night. In summary, we felt it was overpriced and, given the temperature in the lobby area, we felt forced to hole up in our room more than we wanted to be since that felt rather small. I very much doubt we would return. On another note, I got stuck in the lift on Saturday when it broke down. Your duty manager, Nicole, handled that well. Bad stuff happens from time to time, I don’t hold that against you.
