Everything was as described when booking. The bedding was great and was very happy with the shower having great pressure. The feel of the hotel truly was welcoming and loved the games throughout the lobby. Breakfast was also quite good with a good selection.

Very good spot, close to a nice supermarket and coffee spots. Friendly personnel and very clean. Would have love to have room service and tricky to carry tea from reception upstairs or have at least a kettle in the room.

The location was a bit far away from Old Town and this was my first visit to Prague so my itinerary was focused on Old Town. The surrounding felt a bit more "local" so I would definitely consider Mama Shelter on my next visit for exploring outside of Old Town. The staff were very helpful but the lobby can feel a bit unorganized if you're not going for the vibe Mama Shelter is offering. It certainly has a concept and is a boutique hotel so one should take this into consideration when booking.

As a business traveller, the hotel offers a lot but does not deliver. The rooms are very dark, even with all the lights on, plus the rooms were very hot and I was told the air con is only turned on in the summer months. Plus there are zero in room options to have a tea / coffee hot drink as the hotel does not supply cups or a kettle. Other such competitors such as the Hotel Indigo brand are a far better-rounded experience. When I asked the question, I was told that the owners did not want to invest in such standard room amenities, which I believe is a significant oversight. So, overall, it looks great, but does not deliver the basics which are available in an Ibis. Please don't waste your money!!!!!!!!

Mamá Prague offers everything that you need. Great location, walking distance from the center of Prague but not too close to feel overwhelmed. Amazing welcome, great breakfast, super helpful staff everywhere you go. Most comfortable bed EVER, great size room and nice and hot shower. Had the best sleep. If you are looking for a place to stay while visiting or for work in Prague, I highly recommend to stay at Mama!
