I stayed here for a week on business. Having stayed at the hotel a couple of years ago, I was somewhat concerned that the standards might have suffered, judging by some of the reviews, but this was not to be the case. The entire experience was generally favourable - the online booking and email communications were reassuring, the reception staff were professional and helpful, the breakfast had a good selection and the room was cleaned regularly. My only criticisms were that the broken-down lift mentioned in other reviews was still broken-down and that the fruit juices at breakfast seemed watered down. Overall happy and would stay here again.

Great location and everything was fine, but the hotel really could use a little brush-up. Not one of the nicest Novotels I stayed at, but the sauna and the pool are great. Nothing to complain about and would possibly book again.

Overall it was good, the check-out I expected to be faster given that all my details had been given during the online check-in, but it was fine in the end.

Had great experience mainly with the flexibility and understanding from the staff to my changing needs. I had to travel twice out of Prague and change my staying schedule - this was easily handled by the team and I'm grateful for that. The team also helped a lot with finding a COVID test center in preparation for my return flight. All in all - you have a Grate team

OK hotel, rooms fine and clean. Good and easy location. Personnel at front desk nice. Good cleaning. Pool lovely, sauna as well. Some things could be easily improved however: Breakfast: prefab “scrambled eggs” and overcooked blue hard boiled eggs only. Despite 3 people in kitchen and only 4 tables occupied no fried eggs or soft boiled eggs were possible. Only heavily sugared cereals, no oats or nuts, all yoghurts sugared, bread not covered with cloth so all dried out, hard french bread as a result. There is gluten-free bread when you ask then you get 2 amallpieces. Coffee is horrible, juices sugared and prefab as well. With small improvements breakfast could be much better. Personnel at breakfast irritated, with every question “ this is all we have” and walking away. Quite rude.

Really good but unfortunally the hotel was a bit old in almost everything. Carpets, furniture, doors, stairs down to the poolarea, maybe kind of new elevators... I know that it cost a lot to renovate all of the hotell... But yes! Good ,clean, nice but minimum 20 years old interior... (Not the same thing... but quite far to Novotel Canary Wharf I London. I was not a member 2018, but I stayed there about close to ten nights then, and I love the top floor restaurant and the roof bar with overview lLondon skyline! (we had our just office just across in One Canada Square! ;)

Hotel is nicely located, you can reach both old town and Vysehrad on foot. The furniture and overall building is dated and requires renovation. Breakfast is ok, parking price is comparable to other locations

Terrible Service Tasteless Breakfast

I have stayed in a lot of Novotels and this one in Prague is by far the worst, falling way behind standard. Front desk receptionists were impolite and unhelpful, breadfast tasteless and limited variety. Only one lift of the two worked during my stay of 3 days.

The room was a little bit neglected. In the bathroom, the joint around the bathtub had black stains that did not look very aesthetic. Also, the joints on the ceiling was partially detached. The WC door was stained. The curtains and carpet in the room also had stains. Around the electrical socket on the desk top, there was visible dirt.

Well located but not a real 4 star hotel

Not a real 4 star hotel, quite old, the carpet is old and quite dirty. When you ask for cleaning, they take away the trash and change the towels, that’s it. We had to ask additionally for vacuum cleaning which was not made before we arrived. You have choice for breakfast but it is not so tasty… I would say it is more a canteen than a restaurant. We stayed elsewhere in an Accor 4 star hotel in Prague and the difference was huge comparing to Novotel. I don’t think we’ll come back there.

I have been staying with Novotel for years and this Novotel in Prague was the worst ever, actually one of the worst of hotel staying experiences. Receptionists, except the young guy when I checked in, were all unkind, unhelpful and impolite. One ever lied. She told me that the hotel didn’t have bathrobes when I asked to borrow or rent one, but then I found there were plenty in the trolley on the way back to my room. Lots of other things were not right. One of the two elevators was out of service for the three days of my stay there and it took a long long time to wait for it on Saturday when the hotel was relatively full. Food was tasteless and of inferior quality. Wall and floor tiles were dirty around showers in wellness area. At one point, there was no toilet paper in both bathrooms in the lady’s changing room. The rooms were no cleaned daily until requested. It was explained to me by the receptionist later because of Covid which is understandable, but it should also be pointed out at check in and made clear in the room. Some places in the room are dusty. There was minimal toileteries.

Hotel in Praha with parking available directly connected to the hall. Unfortunately, the restaurant is closed but breakfast is available from 6.30. The hotel is in the center of the town and you can reach easily a lot of restaurants and pubs. My room was clean with a little desk useful for smart working activities. Replace staff between ibis and Novotel as it’s almost same building

Giving 3 as someone gave me a plate for dinner. No one literally at reception and I went to ibis a few times the service was amazing. Novotel at this place was not good at all. May be worth doing an ombudsman literally.

Okey we are enduring hard times with Covid-19 but if we pay for a clean room with amenities (clean carpet, soap, coffee, clean towels, bed setup, etc.) to rest for 3 nights. We need this service and not 20% of it. We felt disappointed then we decided to avoid having breakfast at the hotel. May we ask to your quality department to consider this case, I am asking a reimbursement ?

Everything is fine with this hotel. Stuff is very helpfull and welcoming. The only concern: this place need great refurbishing, update water system, update windows and rooms. All inside looks like old soviet time. So upon oweners will invest real sum of cash for compleate reconstraction this hotel will be real jewel. THANKS ANYWAY FOR HOSPITALITY IN BEAUTIFUL PRAGUE!
