Clean and comfortable room with the nice extra of some complimentary refreshments. The pool was an added bonus - even though it was a bit on the cold side for us! - and a nice way to relax after exploring the city. Breakfasts were great with lots of choice and we enjoyed dinner at the hotel too. The location was great for us - within walking distance of the train station. Also within a 25 minute walk of other attractions.

The hotel is nice for families, with A. pleasant pool, play area for younger kids, and A. good breakfast. The location is also very convenient, right next to the museum and A. metro station. However, if you book A. non-refundable or non-flexible rate, it is truly non-flexible. The hotel focuses strictly on the contract. Usually, Accor tries to understand the client's needs and find A. fair balance. I asked to move my booking from Thursday and Friday to Monday and Tuesday, but the response was simply: "Based on the rate, we cannot do it." While the hotel is fully within its rights to strictly enforce the contract, doing so does not always translate to good business. They had availability, the days I requested usually see lower demand and fewer bookings than Thursday and Friday, and I was not asking for A. refund. Had they offered an upgrade or A. rate difference, I would have willingly paid for it. Yet, they strictly chose the letter of the contract over customer satisfaction. When A. hotel has nothing to lose financially by showing A. little flexibility, choosing the strict rules over the customer costs them something far more valuable: customer trust and loyalty. Result: I couldn't extend my stay at another Accor hotel, though I stayed at Novotel for the original period as booked. Even I had booked Accor hotels for all 10 trip days, for the additional two days I needed, I intentionally chose not to stay with Accor. If A. hotel has nothing to lose financially and still chooses rigid policies over customer relationship, it is not A. hotel I will choose next time. Again, they are not wrong in their decision, clear this. Business are made by choices.

The hotel was very well located and easy to get to as it is situated close to the metro and tram stops. The staff were friendly, kind and very helpful, and made the check-in, check-out and overall stay very enjoyable and trouble free. Our room was clean and very comfortable, and it was well soundproofed ensuring that no noise was heard from the street.

We stayed at the executive family room, it was good and the air conditioning working well. Location is good. Negative comment is for breakfast and staffs. The breakfast starts from 6;30am but egg station is opened after 7:30am or even later , I asked the staff for omelette at 7:15am and she refused. No one wants to help and give service with smile at this restaurant . I’ve never seen a Novotel like this.

The hotel was OK. After one week i have not had a reply to my complaint about the borken air conditioning.

Dear Mr. K., Thank you for sharing your feedback. I am very sorry once again that the issue with the air conditioning affected the first night of your stay. I would just like to clarify one point, as I was personally in contact with you regarding this situation. Our team moved you to another room the following morning, and I responded to your complaint on 24 August, after discussing the situation with our management. In my email, I also offered compensation for the inconvenience you experienced during the first night. I am sorry if my email did not reach you or was overlooked. There was no recognition whatsoever, the ALL elite programme is not working. I also asked if late check-out would be available but "everything was booked". That was clearly a lie since most room types were available on the Accor website for 23rd-24th August, including my room type. Having front desk staff lying straight into your face is a very poor customer experience. The hand lotion dispenser was empty and not refilled during my stay. Coffee was not refilled either. I actually had a similar experience with Novotel Wenceslas Square last year, I am not going to stay at this hotel again.

We did not get the room type booked but rather another one and were told that we were „upgraded“. I did trust the hotel plus we were really tired after a road trip. Only after unpacking etc did we realize that we did not have the room configuration we booked and that the room was not that suitable for a family. I am very disappointed as novotel is my to go hotel which I directly book if there is one in a city and just trust that the quality is consistent. I also wrote an email but as of now did not receive a reply so also not sure why that happened exactly. Unfortunately, I would have to reconsider if I would book the same hotel for future stays.

As an ALL member, you were offered a complimentary upgrade from your booked Standard Room to one of our Executive Rooms on the top floor, which includes additional amenities such as a Nespresso coffee machine and bathrobes. However, I completely understand that when travelling with children, the room configuration can be more important than the additional benefits of an upgrade. We are sorry that we were not aware during your stay that the room did not work well for your family. Had we known, our reception team would have been happy to look at the available options and try to find a better solution for you. You also mentioned that you contacted us by email.
