There were a few disappointing aspects- the buffet breakfast was cold [eggs/bacon], the room was sweltering hot with the air conditioner off and they did not have the ingredients for a cocktail they advertised [mojito]. So I went to a different hotel. Service wasn't particularly friendly. The best part was the location.

No housekeeping service provided on Day 2, despite sign on door requesting it. Remedy of towel provision and taking waste away not adequate. Restaurant service poor on Day 3. There were only 2 staff on duty in bar/restaurant, which was extremely busy owing to a football game. We waited almost an hour for our food. The pizza was very bland. Staff overall were not as hospitable or service-oriented as Novotel hotels in other locations.

Great hotel, nice rooms and the receptionist when I checked in was very friendly and helpful. Room service from Tata restaurant was very good the room itself was spacious and comfortable. I personally enjoyed my stay and will definitely stay here again when I visit Prague. I would’ve given a 10 but for the breakfast service, though there were no shortage of option when I got there at 9:30 the scrambled eggs were finished and they didn’t top it up and the egg station for friend eggs had a long queue and the young girl behind it was sweet and trying her best but I can see that she was overwhelmed and nervous which made her slow. And finally beware of Romanian scammers, they tried scamming me. They looked like father and daughter and got it to the lift as I was walking in and as soon as I pressed my floor number they said they were going to the same floor and told me that they were from Dubai. They followed me to my room and when I asked them which room they were in they just randomly said some number and waited next to me to open my door. I just called my friend and walked back to the lift and they followed me having small conversation and invited me to go for dinner with them to a restaurant. I’m guessing they wanted to take me to a restaurant and scam me by charging astronomical amount for food. I took the lift and went and spoke to reception but by that time they had left and the reception guy did not see them. Prague is generally a very safe city so I had my guard down a bit but lucky I didn’t fall for their scam. It might be worth for the hotel management to have a security guard which might deter these scammers.
