Firstly, all the staff I encountered, from front desk, room service, and restaurant were lovely. Super polite and helpful, nothing too much trouble. I stayed in room 314, which I found incredibly noisy. Lots of banging around, not sure if from the store room below? Also, and I found this with the room I stayed in last year in the main house, the kettle is nowhere near a plug, which is very minor issue, but weird. Other than that, the room was spotless, comfortable and had everything I needed. thank you

A little pre Christmas break, the warm welcome from reception, especially Tomek, thank you, who exceeded are expectations numerous times, with help and advice during our stay, gorgeous hotel, location ideal for Oxford and The Cotswolds to explore, 30-40 min walk along The Thames from Iffley. Decor quirkerly stunning, service, staff, especially Tomek and the 2 evening bar & restaurant staff all 5 *. Room comfortable, modern & clean, with extra touches, food amazing, we will be back, see you soon 😍 xxx

Rooms are adequate. Breakfast was adequate, need to ensure the waiting staff keep and eye on the food levels and communicate to the kitchen when hot food items are becoming low. As waited till they ran out. Which then caused delays. Did not clean / collect plates for items quick enough once for was eaten. The manager on the Saturday evening of the 29th November should not hold that position in a hotel that is charging towards £300 for a room. He was inexperienced and ruined the whole evening by walking across the dance floor during the last song and going over and turning off the DJ equipment to kill the music. He had not spoken to anyone of the hosts at the party to guage this was the last record. He just walked across in a very dictator style manner and turned off the music and they took lights on At this price point in the hotel market place I would expect first class service, the hotel failed on all levels very disappointing. The management need to ensure whoever is the duty manager has the level of experience to deal with the clients in the appropriate manner.
