The location of hotel is great. Many restaurants, grocery stores and pubs around here. Vendor machines at the entrance is good. The hotel room is nice, neat and clean. However, in a hotel room. The ventilator in bathroom is not worked. But rest of all are good.

Located amongst a bustling street of variety of dining options, the hotel is very close to Changi for those wanting a good rest before the next leg of their journey (in my case, it was Europe). It offers simple, no frills yet just perfect option for an overnight stay. Beds are smaller than average size and the wash basin didn't have a soap. Air conditioning worked fine so did the hot water in the shower.

Our beds are standard international-sized single beds, and we provide a multi-purpose soap dispenser in the shower area for both handwashing and bathing. Staffs friendly and helpful. But we had sleepless nights due to the loud noises from next rooms’ doors snd inconsiderate guest talking loud, moving furnitures. It was a nightmare for me especially a light sleeper despite after changing to another room/floor. We could hear noises from other rooms. We are staying for 8 nights and for the past 4 nights i had to take sleeping medication/ear plugs due to the noises from doors slamming in the middle of the night. No one seems to write about the loud noises from the doors otherwise we wouldn’t have booked. For light sleepers I suggest think twice. Very disappointing.

Ibis Budget JoiChiat is in a lively neighbourhood about a 20 minute drive from Singapore airport. Great for an overnight stay between flights.

Room size and complimentary room.service was satisfactory. Location is good. However, the noise from guest walking along the corrifor and door slamming/closing can be heard inside the room.

Stone hard mattress and half broken AC. What did you expect for the price?

Arrived end of afternoon, booked through Trip.com. Rude and not polite check-in procedure. I found after that he charged more than the agreed cost on trip.com without any reason. Fortunately, for the night shift, a nice lady at reception acknowledged the mistake and proceed to refund the difference. Room is small but ok. Quite noisy with other people rooms or in corridor. Need be careful. Not again

I stayed here for one night before a flight. It's only a 15 minute taxi to the airport so that was very helpful. I didn't get around to exploring the area much because I only spent about 12 hours in Singapore this time, but my Bolt driver said it's a great area and it seems fun with lots of karaoke bars on the street. It was quiet in the room and I didn't hear any noise from the street. I thought this was such great value for Singapore which tends to be quite expensive. It was easy to get a bus to Little India where I had my favourite Birria tacos.

Great location, easy check in, beds very hard to sleep. We asked reception for a mattress topper or at least an extra blanket but housekeeping had finished for the day.
