As soon as I entered the room, I noticed an unpleasant smell, somewhat resembling a toilet odour or a stale, musty smell. It was quite noticeable from the moment I stepped inside. You may have noticed that I hung a toilet air freshener in the bathroom, as I was trying to minimise the unpleasant smell. I had a very pleasant stay at Grand Mercure. I was particularly impressed with the faster and more seamless check-in process, which is now fully digital and paperless. I also requested to link my booking to my ALL – Accor Live Limitless account, and it was great to know my room number right away, making the arrival experience even more convenient. The breakfast was also enjoyable, with a good selection of food to start the day. The concierge staff very friendly and attentive. For my next stay, I would appreciate a room on a higher floor, if possible, as it would make the overall experience even better. Overall, I had a great experience and look forward to staying with Grand Mercure again.
