Our family recently stayed at this amazing property and had a fantastic time. We were celebrating our 10-year wedding anniversary - and WOW did they take notice! Every detail was looked after with the utmost care, the accommodations were second to none. The pool was unreal as well as the surrounding grounds. The kids club kept our boys busy with pottery activities, painting classes, and space just to hang out. What truly set it apart was the staff, Othmane, Salma, Youness, Omar, and Ibtissam are just some of the smiling faces that made us feel at home the entire time. We have stayed at many 5-star resorts, and this one meets or exceeds all expectations. We hope to come back one day soon!

From booking until my Taxi moved to the airport all staff were great starting from Mr Othman great support and really all staff. Also the housekeeping was amazingly helpful and seeking comfort. She even noticed i had some nexk pain and she by herself took initiative and proposed to get me a special pillow which was great. Also breakfast team... also the persian resturant team.... all

I loved the breakfast, one of the best I had in a hotel globally. All items are freshly made and there is a variety of options.

Good hotel. Service was great (esp for Tangier), location was good, rooms were good, but the pool was too small and not clean, full of guests you don't want, too many day guests (it doesn't suit a hotel like this to have day guests), management were very good, needs another pool.

Very beautiful hotel, all the details are amazing. The in-room service is very slow. The room was not clean, especially the bath. The forest was not maintained well. But it has all the potential to be the paradise inside the Tangier. The swimming pool and breakfast was great! The staff at swimming pool was good as well!

I did not sleep for two nights, in two different rooms. My 70-year-old mother, unwell, could neither rest nor access her medicines, which staff left behind during a room change they had committed to twice. I reported the noise at 11 p.m.; no record of the call existed the next morning. I spent both days chasing staff for the basics. Worse than most camping experiences.

This was the last leg of our 2-week holiday in Morocco. We stayed at very good holidays in other cities (e.g. Four Seasons in Rabat), but the Fairmont was by far the most expensive. We therefore had high expectations, which were not met in any way. Some examples: - Staff making personal phone calls rather than assisting guests. - Bed in room 705 had used sheets from previous guests (totally unacceptable). - Lots of long hair on bedroom floor. - Ceiling in toilet of Room 702 leaking water from above. - Staff in restaurant arguing with one another in front of guests. - Staff at breakfast completely clueless about gluten free options (this is dangerous!). - No towels or water in fitness center (were replenished after requesting them), as well as dirty equipment. - General lack of cleanliness and hygiene in all public areas (I have photos if you want them). - Broken lamp on balcony (I have photos too). The overall impression was of a poorly managed and maintained property. If you are going to charge higher prices than similar brands (Four Seasons, St. Regis, Mandarin Oriental) then you need to significantly improve. Otherwise, you need to reduce your rates by at least 50% to reflect the lack of quality. The front desk staff and assistant manager seemed genuinely concerned by our feedback and removed a dinner charge from our invoice, which was appreciated. However, the issue here seems to be poor management, which is reflected in all areas of the hotel.

Beautiful building and room, quiet area. However service fall short of expectations. On arrival day we arrived at 15:15 for checkin and at 16:30 the room was still not ready so we left for town. I asked 4 times (phone, front office and employee in corridor) for a foam pillow but received it 2 days later. Same i called to have room service tray removed but nobody came. Pool is big but as hotel was fool it felt a bit overcrowded. Here again at the pool i found the service unfriendly….

Comfy, the main issue is some noise that could be heard such as talking, doors closing ... etc

the hotel is beautiful and located in the heart of tangier. what was especially unique was the staff who was extremely helpful.

The room was spacious, clean with amazing view, Housekeeping was fantastic, restaurant went over and beyond to make us feel special & the service was amazing. Pool was great and service even though a hit & miss was good overall. What was lacking was the check in procedure but I think that was down to the individual member of staff

It was our first time in Morocco and this hotel was very memorable for us. The amenities were great and the staff was very professional and friendly and genuinely catered to anything we asked of them. And they all did it with a smile and happiness. Loved this place.

The hotel is beautiful, elegant, rooms are perfect. The food in the hotel is terrible. My son was sick 3 days after dinner at the sushi restaurant. Food and beverage management of the hotel should be changed because they make the experience negative

We stayed at the Fairmont Tazi Palace Tangier as a family and overall had a really lovely experience. The hotel is set on top of a hill overlooking Tangier, and the location is one of its biggest strengths. The views over the city are spectacular, especially at sunset, yet the property is remarkably quiet. It feels completely removed from the hustle and bustle while being only about 15 minutes from the city centre. The palace itself is stunning. Knowing that it was once a royal residence gives the whole place a special atmosphere, and the restoration has been done beautifully. The architecture, gardens and interior decoration are all very elegant without feeling over the top. Walking around the property is an experience in itself. Another standout was the food. We tried several dining options during our stay, including room service and meals by the pool, and the quality was consistently excellent. In many luxury hotels, pool food and room service can be an afterthought, but here everything was genuinely delicious. Our favourite restaurant was The Social Kitchen, which serves traditional Moroccan cuisine. We actually enjoyed it even more than Parisa, the hotel’s fine dining restaurant, which was also very good but felt slightly less memorable for us. The pool area is beautiful: huge, well maintained and pleasantly warm. It was a real highlight for the children. We also want to mention the pool attendant, who was incredibly kind and attentive throughout our stay. He was always offering fresh towels, adjusting umbrellas and helping families, and we even saw him playing with some of the children, which was a lovely touch. A special mention as well to Mouad, one of the waiters, whose cheerful attitude and warm service made every interaction enjoyable. The concierge team was excellent too and helped us with several restaurant bookings and local recommendations. One thing to know is that the service style at the Fairmont Tazi Palace is quite discreet. The staff are professional and efficient, but they are not constantly checking in on guests. Some people may appreciate this understated approach, while others who are used to more personalised attention in five-star hotels might feel slightly less pampered. There were a few minor downsides. Although the hotel grounds are very peaceful, the rooms are not especially well soundproofed, so we could occasionally hear our neighbours. The bedding was also the weakest part of the stay for us: the mattress was very firm and not particularly comfortable. The only other issue was the pool becoming a bit crowded at certain times because it is also accessible to non-residents through a day-pass offer. On busy days this can change the atmosphere slightly, with some visitors being less mindful of the calm environment that hotel guests are looking for. Despite these points, we would happily return. The combination of the breathtaking location, the magnificent palace setting, the outstanding food and the genuinely kind staff made this a memorable family holiday. If you are looking for a peaceful luxury hotel in Tangier with exceptional dining and beautiful views, Fairmont Tazi Palace Tangier is an excellent choice.

the hotel and staff was wonderfull. the construction was unfortunate and the signs to the restaurant a bit confusing. we where looking for the budha bar lounge but didnt find it and the staff itself didnt had a clue where it was. next thing that was bad was the men's sauna that smelled like mold. steamcabine was broken at the womens side. nobody told us about the pottery bakery so we didnt know it untill we already left the hotel. and the valet parking in front of the hotel was bad. every single time they had to ask what kind of car we had and which colour. there was no system

This was one of my best hotel stay. Sublime facility and wonderful management and staff! I will come back!

The staff at the front desk and concierge team and at breakfast were exceptional, however the overall services of the hotel not so good in my opinion, air conditioning in the gym, hammam not available, basic things like milk in the room where never done when requested, not even a spoon though asked regularly where placed in the room to make a cup of tea, the garden area which was an addition of the rooms where not maintained and cleaned with a build of dirt on the ground etc and the overall gardens not maintained that were part of the room. Being a hotel Of this stature I would expect that water would be provided by the beds as complimentary with the heat, something prepared and suggested for services like a hammam as work was being carried out - it did not feel like one of the net hotels in Tangier to be honest, for the price paid...sorry to say, it was clear in my booking that I have a connecting or room side by side with my children as it was a family holiday, should I have not pressed on this matter we would have been set far away from one another. It was myself an 18 yr old and my 16 yr old, and had to book two rooms, otherwise I would have been required to pay 20k for the week should I not book 2 rooms. It was confirmed that a third single bed is not within the hotels policy. The Mandarin, Four seasons and many other hotels accommodate this.

First of all, I would like to thank you for the hospitality during my stay. I truly enjoyed my time at your hotel. The hotel itself is beautiful, and the service provided by your staff was excellent. However, I experienced a few issues that left me disappointed. There were some cleanliness concerns in my room, but more importantly, there was a significant problem at the time of my departure. Unfortunately, your staff forgot to load my luggage into the car. After I had already arrived in Marrakech, I contacted the hotel, and I appreciate that my belongings were sent to me afterwards. However, I was very disappointed when I received my luggage. One of the main reasons I visited Tangier was to purchase local sweets that had been specially recommended by my family. Because my luggage was delayed, the sweets arrived melted and spoiled, making them completely unusable. As a result, I lost the items I had carefully purchased as gifts for my family. While I appreciate your efforts in returning my belongings, the delay unfortunately caused me to lose these products through no fault of my own. Therefore, I believe it would be fair for the hotel to compensate me for this loss. I also want to mention that I have not yet shared my experience or posted any negative reviews on Google because I wanted to give your management the opportunity to address this matter first. I sincerely hope we can resolve this professionally, as I would much rather remember my stay for the excellent service than for this unfortunate incident. From the moment I arrived, the gentle receptionist offering lovely lemon juice and Moroccan cakes, the secret Iranian restaurant, and the kindness of all the staff made it truly a wonderful place to regenerate.
