I was staying in your hotel two years ago and last week. Last time I was given a very nice room, where I could find everything I needed. This time unfortunately I couldn't find bathrobe in my room and slippers. I had to go to the reception and ask for bathrobe to go to the spa and then I was asked to pay 50 zł just to have the possibility to go to spa, which was included in my rate. The money was just an insurance that the bathrobe is going to be returned, so it was, but I felt like I am treated not as a guest, but as a potential thief. As I know, my colleague was being upgraded and she had a bathrobe in her room, so nobody asked her any additional money. Is being in a standard room considered to be a threat to a hotel bathrobe? What is more, I had to ask for slippers to go to the spa as well because I didn't have them in the room. The breakfast was majestic, the room service was unquestionable, I loved your hotel to years ago, and this time is not an exception, but those small things that I mentioned in this overview made it a little bit less enjoyable.

We are sorry, however, that the arrangements regarding the bathrobe and slippers caused some disappointment. We would like to clarify that bathrobes are included in the standard equipment of our Superior rooms and Apartments, while they are not part of the standard equipment in our Standard rooms. Nevertheless, guests staying in Standard rooms are welcome to use a bathrobe in the spa by collecting one from Reception against a refundable deposit of PLN 50 per bathrobe. The deposit can be paid either by card or in cash and is fully returned when the bathrobe is brought back. We certainly understand that being asked for a deposit may have felt uncomfortable, and we are sorry if this gave you the impression that we did not trust you. The deposit is simply a standard procedure applicable to guests staying in room categories where bathrobes are not included in the room equipment, and is not intended to reflect any judgement about our guests. We would also like to mention that the equipment and amenities provided in each room category are clearly specified on our reservation platforms. Additionally, our Reception team is available 24/7 and is always happy to assist our guests, both before arrival and throughout their stay, should anything be needed. We truly appreciate your kind words about your previous and recent stays, and we are especially pleased to know that, despite these details, you continue to enjoy our hotel.
