The hotel and room looked nice. The bed was comfortable. The restaurant and breakfast were good. However, unfortunately, it was very warm in the room. When I entered it was 27C. I turned on the a/c but it did not work properly. I waited an hour to see if the temperature would decrease but it only decreased to 26C. I reported this at the reception and I was told there was an issue with the a/c and that all the rooms had this issue and nothing could be done. This was not told to me upon checking in an hour before. It would have been of service if this had already been told at check-in because the problem must have been there then already.

My laundry items retuned without washing and without any explanation Requested explanation and we did not get feedback

From the outside it’s a very pretty hotel and restaurant with a charming front yard. The Lobby works. It’s inviting, an open light space, but unfortunately the two men we spoke to in the lobby were quite rude at least not service minded at all. Not to mention if you’re arriving by car.. the parking is impossible. No space and the 3 charging spots were occupied by normal cars. Only one of them were used but to the guy in the reception there was nothing he could do. He just had a really bad attitude. Rooms were okay to the price I guess. Could use a bit of an upgrade. The restaurant is not worth a visit. We had a pasta with pesto and it literally tasted as if they dropped the salt container in it and the rest was just really boring. The eggs were okay but apart from that the breakfast needs some structure. Don’t think I’ll visit again unless they upgrade the place a bit.

Generally okay but rooms could have been cleaner

There are a number of things that could be better; 1. Drainage in the showers 2 towels in the gym 3. Cleanliness of the room, we found balls of dust under the sofa bed 4. The fridges could be better 5. Windows could be better to block out the noise from the road next to the hotel especially now with a tram line that runs on that same street 6. Receptionist could be more friendlier and helpful. It is not enough to tell a client that you don’t know if what the client asked for has been done, she did not even bother to check 7. In a family room accommodating 3 people, a je bottle of water is simply not enough 8. There is no body lotion available
