cancelled booking & no hot water in the shower

the last time i booked with Ibis Styles in Gennevilliers, my booking was cancelled on the day i was supposed to arrive. I was very unhappy about this and have chosen other hotels to stay in since then. I booked again last week and was given a room on the 7th floor which had no hot water in the shower. I did not find out this until the morning i was due to leave and had to have a cold shower as a result. I notified the front desk of this as i left. Not happy with my experience.

Worse hotel in the world. Ruled by African family. All staff from Africa, do nothing. Breakfast is nightmare. Only after complaint they decided to serve some food and provide forks. The floor at the breakfast aria wet and dirty. Nobody care about that. Not recommended at all.

The hotel was well located by the railway station, but was a bit rough around the edges. A few notes - we asked for another pillow on day 2 and this never materialised, no working lightbulb on bedside light and the housekeeper let themselves into the room while we were in without knocking. The breakfast was okay, and the staff were generally very friendly.

Not sure my web reservation went through to hotel..? Ended up in a ground floor easy access room. Light missing off wall. Phone in room off hook. No coat hangers for clothing. Shower knob fell off and needed to be held on whilst operating..?! I am fully fit so no idea how a less abled person would have coped. Glad it was only for the one night. Appreciated the welcome drink as a silver member..!

Very Nice and clean room, the only problem is the breakfast the team works to take care of the breakfast they turn off Machines and not reload the items, just to make the guests go way quickly, very sad this situation a saw they was doing that because was a big group having breakfast, but is not reason to do that because if the Hotel have place for all this guests that's mean they will have enough preparation for the guests they are specting.. will be nice if a responsible talk with the team about it
