This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. When we checked in, we were given a room that was already occupied. We opened the door and found another guest inside. This was incredibly embarrassing and, more importantly, a serious safety and security issue for both us and the guest whose privacy was violated. What made it even worse was the reception staff’s response. We immediately went downstairs to report the mistake, but the receptionist didn’t seem concerned at all. He didn’t apologise once, didn’t acknowledge how serious the situation was, and barely spoke to us. He simply handed us a key to the room next door as if nothing had happened. The problems didn’t stop there. One of the pillows in our room was dirty. I went back to reception to ask for a clean replacement, but I was told they didn’t have any spare pillows. Even after housekeeping cleaned the room later, the dirty pillow and pillowcase were left unchanged. Another disappointment was the breakfast service. There was a Nespresso coffee machine in the reception area, but despite breakfast being included in our stay, guests were not allowed to use it—not even during breakfast hours. Instead, we were told to use an old coffee machine in the breakfast area, which was noticeably inferior. It felt unnecessarily restrictive and didn’t match the standard we expected. The location is also very inconvenient if you plan to visit the city centre. There is no nearby metro station, making commuting time-consuming and inconvenient. Overall, most of the staff were unfriendly and unhelpful, with the exception of one gentleman working the night shift, who was the only staff member who was polite and professional. A hotel should prioritise guest safety, cleanliness, and customer service. Unfortunately, this hotel failed in all three areas. I would not stay here again and cannot recommend it.
