- When checking in, we were given a room with a 1.30m wide bed for two people to sleep in - We needed to argue with reception 2 times to get a proper room - The new room was the one of the worst rooms in the hotel, lacking pillows - Room was overheated and the stale air didn‘t go out - Despite being a Gold member, welcome amenity wasn‘t provided

I would say this stay was not up to the usual standard. I do feel that regular visitors are not acknowledged in any way, treated each time as though it was the 1st visit. I have stayed at least 10 times now (and as a company at least 30-40 times) and the last was slightly challenged. I stayed for 2 nights and had no water or kettle in the room. I called reception and was advised that I was in a bog standard room, which to me looked exactly the same as all other stays) and was not 'entitled' to a kettle, yet EVERY room I had before had a basis kettle or coffee machine to heat up water?

Hotel is great, location is perfect. Everybody is polite and friendly, rooms are clean and comfortable. View is the most beautiful thing for me. I love masks we got when we arrived at our room. The metro station is close by and very good connected to the historical areas and city center. I will recommend this hotel to anyone who comes to Paris. Mama we love you!❤️

As a frequent guest of Mama Shelter in other cities, I have always loved the brand's vibe and quality. Unfortunately, my stay at Paris La Défense was a massive disappointment. Mama Shelter Paris La Défense failed to deliver on the most fundamental levels of hospitality and integrity. If you are accustomed to the seamless and hospitable experience of other Mama Shelter locations, be warned: this specific hotel does not meet those standards. It was a stressful experience that has severely shaken my confidence in the brand. The core of the problem was a complete failure of basic room facilities. During a short two-night stay, we were forced to change rooms twice, staying in a total of three different rooms. In the first room, there was no water pressure and no hot water in the shower. After moving, the second room proved to be even worse: the ventilation system was completely broken, making the room uncomfortably hot and sleep virtually impossible. Spending a significant portion of a weekend trip packing and unpacking just to secure basic necessities like a functional shower and a livable room temperature is unacceptable. What makes this experience truly frustrating, however, is the systemic lack of internal communication and the unprofessional follow-up. While the on-site staff acknowledged the technical failures, the information was never properly shared between shifts, forcing us to explain our situation repeatedly. Even more disappointing is the management's handling of the situation after checkout. Despite the severe impact on our stay, the hotel only offered a negligible 20% refund—a gesture that is clearly disproportionate to the level of discomfort we experienced. To make matters worse, I have since been met with nothing but administrative excuses and rigid bureaucracy just to get them to honor this minimal amount. To see a renowned hotel chain hide behind excuses instead of taking responsibility for a clearly failed service experience is deeply concerning.

Comfortable stay at a hotel which was ideally located for my stay. Room was good as was the bed, only let down are the pillows, far too soft, nice to have one firm pillow available.
