The lobby was small and no priority check-in for Accor members so I have to join the long queue. But the worst was they only gave me one key card. I have to put a deposit of RM50 to have another key. Never hear this kind of policy from any hotels except Novotel JB. Room size ok and lighting good. But the carpet can be risky to trip and fall. Toilet table top small so many things put there will be wet. Housekeeping never clean our room on day 2 when we back at 5pm. Will only stay if price is competitive with KSL and Holiday Villa.

My stay was during a peak weekend and coincided with a Singapore public holiday. While I understand that the hotel may have been operating at high occupancy, this should not compromise the overall quality of service expected by guests. During the first two days of my stay, I was disappointed with the breakfast quality. The fried kuey teow was hard and dry, while the pancakes were poorly prepared and did not appear to meet a professional hotel standard. Food replenishment was also noticeably slow, with several items taking quite some time to be refilled. There were also issues with the condition of the room and corridor. The corridor on my floor had a damp and musty smell, although I noticed blowers had been placed to dry the carpet. More concerningly, there was water on the floor in my room from an unknown source. I attempted to contact both the Reception and Housekeeping to report the matter, but unfortunately, my calls went unanswered. The most frustrating issue, however, occurred during check-out. I was unable to obtain my invoice due to complications involving a split bill. This arrangement had already been communicated in advance to the Sales team and was again mentioned to the Reception upon check-in. Despite this, the matter could not be resolved at check-out, and more than 24 hours later, I have still not received my invoice. If the hotel's system is unable to accommodate split billing, it would be better not to agree to such arrangements in the first place. The Sales and Front Office teams should also be properly informed of the system's limitations so that guests are advised accordingly in advance, rather than facing unnecessary complications upon departure. I hope the hotel will take these comments constructively, particularly in improving service consistency during peak periods, internal communication between departments, and responsiveness to guests.
