Although the room is small but it is comfortable and is fully equipped. Love that it's very close to KSL and the view is nice. Staff is super friendly and will definitely come back!

This is my second stay, check in was fast and i was assigned to a high floor. I did made feedback on the room and the reception told me there is an executive room but i search till Nov26 in Accor App and did not find it. Probably the room was occupied till November. this time i was told hotel are full and i can start seeing the whole hotel start breaking down. First Hotel lift are slow, it always take at least 5min to move from the ground to my floor or the lounge. It will get worst after 12noon. Looks like the person written the lift logic know nothing on lift, Lift always not on first floor and while taking lift down, it keep stopping. This is a building more than 34 storey and only 3 lift to serve everyone and programming not efficient will made it worst. Then the worst part, the system break down on Friday morning, lift , electrical, aircon all gone. Took 2 hr to recover and nothing from Hotel, not even an apology. I went to 11 floor for breakfast but the food replenish are slow and most of the time 1/4 are always empty. Luckily i have option and i can goto lounge. But lounge food are limited, sometimes i find the evening cocktail are better than breakfast. Anyway the staff are friendly and i feel warm, especially in lobby, the staff Din helpful and help us pass messages to housekeeping. Overall experience average.

We booked a 1 night stay at Novotel Johor Bahru City Centre, to celebrate my husband's birthday. Seeing that we previously had a good experience with Novotel Bangkok Siam Square and that Novotel JBCC was newly opened, we were excited to finally have a Novotel near us. However, on our check-out day, we were met with a black out. The entire building had run out of power. We had to shower in the dark, and packed our belongings in the dark. There was no air conditioning at all due to the black out, and I had to leave the hotel with wet hair in this humid weather. The lifts were not running, we had to squeeze with the hotel staff in the service lift when they were delivering food to another floor. There was zero priorities to guests making their way down, hotel staff seemed unbothered and were not helpful in this situation. Also, when we finally made it down to the front desk to check out, no apologies were given for the situation and inconvenience caused. In fact, they just took the room key from us and walked off with a nonchalant face. We were extremely disappointed with how the hotel handled the situation, and we expected more/better service coming from the 'Novotel' branding.
