It was nice and clean despite my room 1006 has very damp smell. It was after cleaning the room before we check in. Tried to get room service to spray some scent but it didn’t help at all. It could be carpet. Apparently the smell didn’t go off even the next day

Bad experience - poor management in handling technical faults

Booked 2 rooms, for me and a friend, to stay on Tue 25 June. On Monday 24 June, I received a call to enquire what time will I arrive as the water supply will be shut down in the morning for maintenance. On 25 June, I checked in at about 7.15 pm. Reception did not mention anything about major defects in the hotel. At about 9.30 pm, when taking a shower, discovered that : a. water pressure n the shower was very low, and b. there was no hot water Called the reception and was horrified when told that there was no hot water in all the rooms since the day before and water pressure too was very low in most of the rooms. When questioned what was the hotel going to do about it, the reception said its manager will call me ...... that call never happened. When my friend called the reception to enquire why there was no hot water ..... no one answered the phone !! I can understand that technical / mechanical defects can happen in any buildings. What I am extremely unhappy is that whilst the defect happened 2 days or more earlier, the reception does not tell the guests when checking-in that there is a problem with the showers / hot water. Then : a. apologise to the guest, b. give the guest the option to cancel the booking without any penalty, and c. offer a token gift to compensate for the inconvenience ..... it could be just a free drink or a RM20 coupon to use on the next visit. It is disappointing to know that the management hid the information about the defect and as a result, the guests only discovered the problem whilst naked and cold in the shower. This is my worst experience in an Accor member hotel.

My first time staying ibis styles hotel,I satisfied and get good experience.The staff very kind and the security very kind offer to send my stuff to the room.I will come back soon.Thanks.

Very-very good,just one small thing,my room is dnd,one of colleague knock the door around 1.30pm to wakee c/out but i already continue and paid my extend stay as well.But,doesn't matter as well.

Poor Check In System

I booked a family room for a night here (one queen bed + bunkbed) but when we did the check in on 22 June , they initially gave us a superior room that was very small. I went down and complained but the staff said the system showed I booked a superior room. Since I am a ALL member and booked via the apps, I showed them that I've paid more to get this family room. After some time they finally gave me the family room that I supposed to have since the beginning. It should have been a great experience for us since the room was spacious and the food (room service) was also nice. But the check in process especially towards ALL member is unpleasant. I was very tired from my flight and still need to back and forth pulling my luggage due to this improper check in handling. Not to mention, the staffs never care to offer help to move our luggage. The location is also in the middle of nowhere just it's quite close to Legoland, the place we will move the following day. I hope Accor Management can improve the hospitality and services in this hotel. It's a bit hard to comprehend the system shows different thing with my booking. So is it the system, or the human mistake?
