Hello - the staff were lovely and accommodating. Just wanted to flag that there was a significant amount of someone's hair in the bathroom - including the bathtub, on the shower tile walls and around the bathroom floor. It made me question whether it had been cleaned before I stayed - was only one night and we arrived late so just dealt with it but wanted to share. Thanks.

I needed 2 nights in Munich for an emergency, and stayed on points. The hotel is an old property, and the room design shows its age. Multiple carpets in one room, pea green paint, an inexplicable breakfast nook that you must step up into, and am overall lack of sufficient lighting. That said, the highlights were the staff, who were extremely friendly and helpful, and the food, which was good for dinner and great for breakfast.

Stayed here several times. While the room is familiar, this time it felt a bit less satisfying. Facing the airport resulted in quite some noise, but windows can't be kept open anyway since huge bees (?) decide to visit quickly. Breakfast had less variety than before.

Unfortunately, our experience at breakfast this morning was extremely disappointing. I came downstairs with my baby for breakfast and noticed that almost all of the tables by the windows were still covered with dirty plates and dishes left by previous guests. I politely asked the waitress, whose name I believe was Marien, if she could please clear and clean one of the tables by the window, as I wanted to sit there with my baby. Instead of helping, she dismissively told me, “You can sit over there by the wall,” in a very unpleasant tone. I explained that I preferred to sit by the window, where there were empty tables that simply needed to be cleared. Her attitude became even more unfriendly. When I then asked for a high chair for my baby, she merely pointed at it and said, “You can take one from there.” This was particularly disappointing given that I was alone with a small child. I eventually walked away, frustrated, and headed back toward my room. Only then did she call after me asking if I wanted her to bring me the chair. By that point, the way I had been treated had already left a very bad impression. What made the experience even worse was that after I returned to my table, I noticed the staff looking in my direction and talking among themselves. Whether or not they were discussing me, it certainly made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. A hotel’s breakfast service is one of the simplest opportunities to make guests feel welcome, and unfortunately this was the complete opposite. The hotel itself feels rather dated, but what was most disappointing was the lack of basic courtesy and professionalism from the staff. I sincerely hope management takes this kind of feedback seriously. Guests should be treated with the same level of courtesy and respect regardless of their nationality. Professionalism and hospitality should be the standard for everyone.

What you describe is certainly not the level of hospitality and service we expect from our team. In particular, I regret that you were left to clear a table yourself and that you did not receive the assistance you reasonably expected while travelling with your baby. Our guests should feel welcomed, respected, and cared for, and we clearly fell short of that standard on this occasion. I am also very sorry about the way your request for a high chair was handled. Even if the chair was readily available, simply pointing it out to a guest who is alone with a small child is not the attentive and courteous service we aim to provide. We should have offered to bring it to you without hesitation. Your comments regarding the tables that had not been cleared and your impression that staff were looking in your direction and speaking among themselves are equally concerning. Regardless of what was being discussed, we understand how uncomfortable and unwelcome this situation must have made you feel. Please be assured that we take your comments seriously. I will discuss this incident with our breakfast team and reinforce our expectations regarding attentiveness, respectful communication, cleanliness, and, above all, genuine hospitality towards every guest. We do not accept nationality or background as a basis for different treatment, and every guest deserves the same courtesy and respect. I also appreciate your broader comment about the condition of the hotel. While some aspects of the property may reflect its age, this should never be an excuse for shortcomings in service. Once again, please accept my sincere apologies for the experience you had. Thank you for bringing this to our attention and giving us the opportunity to address it. We hope that, despite this disappointing experience, you will consider giving us another opportunity to demonstrate the standard of hospitality we strive to provide.
