Staying at this hotel was very comfortable: perfect bed, very quiet room, lots of space. Good connection to airport and train station. Extra payment for (very good) breakfast was a bit expensive.

For an airport hotel this is a joke! There is no shuttle pick up or drop off at the airport terminals. Apparently there is a local bus but the hotel provides no information on this (other than in the hotel lobby which isn't much use when you are in the airport). We looked online and found where it was supposed to go from but there was sign of it there, so we got an expensive taxi instead. Then we queued for over an hour to check in, which at midnight is not very pleasant. The restaurant is closed and only a small bar menu available in limited hours and even they got our order wrong! We also witnessed the rude manner of some of the bar staff which has already been mentioned by other reviewers. There are vending machines in the lobby with food and drink but these are so desperately needed (owing to the closed restaurant and poor bar menu) that they are often sold out of food items. The check in staff managed to split my single payment into three separate room charges to appear on my credit card statement, each with the overseas purchase fee! We booked two nights, so they took the first night fee, then part of the second night, then the rest of the second night! You can request for tea/coffee making stuff to be sent to the room, but you get the kettle first then have to ask for cups, etc, separately. It's a good thing I always carry good coffee bags when travelling! I have had to stay in airport hotels around the world and can't remember any that were as bad as this!

We stayed 2 nights with plans to go to Octoberfest and then head home. The restaurant is only open for the buffet breakfast. Bar opens at 5pm and has a limited (but good) menu. There are some vending machines for snacks, beer etc for something when bar not open. I only had two issues with the hotel: 1.) I got an email to check-in online which I started to do. In the process I was told that in addition to a hold on my credit card for the amount of the room cost, an additional amount (think 65.00 Euro) would be added to the hold to handle any additional costs. For other hotels this is usually for bar/restaurant charges. I did not finish checkin since I was asked for a credit card. I finished checkin in person. I haven't audited my receipt yet. I was very surprised when we could not charge our drinks and food that we had at the bar/restaurant. What was that additional hold for? 2.) I knew there was service (pay) from the hotel to the airport. I did not realize that this was a city bus that did not come to the front door of the hotel. We took it to the airport to catch a train for Octoberfest, but realized this was not going to work with our suitcases.
