Everything very good except for one thing. The ALL site indicated there is a shuttle bus. After some clarification it seems there is not — the bus referred to is a public bus a short walk away. The bus costs a little money (not a big deal) but only accepts cash, which can be a problem having only just landed in Germany. It was also raining so we got quite wet walking from between the hotel and bus stop. The bus was also completely full back to the airport and we couldn’t get on (along with many other hotel guests, standing in the tiny bus shelter in the rain). Caught a taxi for 17€ instead. May I suggest this is not a hotel “shuttle” so perhaps shouldn’t be described so. A hotel shuttle would actually be quite good for the two hotels.

Hotel looks brand new, facilities are good, rooms are pleasant, breakfast good, check-out staff pleasant and helpful. The problem I had was with the check-in staff. I arrived on a flight on Sunday around midnight (June 7) after a 2 hours delay due to temporary closure of the airport. When I arrived, the taxi queues were enormous and Uber's didn't respond. Your website showed that there is a shuttle service so I went to the bus stand for hotel shuttles. Ibis wasn't on the sign at the bus stop, so I phoned the hotel to ask if I was at the right bus stop. No answer. Taking a taxi still wasn't an option because of the queues. During an hour and a half I tried to phone the hotel several times, no answer. After 90 minutes the taxi queue had disappeared and I managed to find a taxi that would take me to Ibis for €20 (together with another guests that had been waiting & phoning the hotel unsuccessfully also). During check in I showed my phone and asked if I had dialed the right number for Ibis Styles Munich airport. The answer was yes, "but I couldn't aswer the phone as it was busy at the front desk". No empathy, no apology, no trying to find out why I was calling and is there anything I can do for you, just: "I was too busy". During 90 minutes the hotel was not reachable by phone because your front desk staff was busy. That's the reason for my bad judgement above. When I checked the website on my laptop I searched for the information on the shuttle bus. Once you click through, you see that the shuttle bus is actually bus 635. My recommendation is to put exactly that in the header on the website so your guests can find the correct bus stop more easily, without having to scroll through the website on a mobile phone.

Referring more clearly and prominently to public Bus 635 on our website would make it much easier for arriving guests to identify the correct bus stop and reach the hotel without confusion.
