Avoid this hotel! Due to a bug, I had to cancel a room and rebook a room. I wasn't refunded the first room despite an explanation. €165 out of my pocket for a computer bug. I find that outrageous. I've been a business travel customer for many years. I won't stay at an Accor hotel again. I don't recommend it at all.

Our stay at Ibis München Airport Süd was extremely disappointing. Despite numerous attempts to contact the hotel after a late booking, we received no response. Upon arrival, the concierge couldn't find our booking, causing unnecessary stress. The breakfast, at an outrageous €16 per person, was dreadful: hard bread, scarce food options, no hot items, and a coffee machine that produced undrinkable, curdled lattes. To make matters worse, the application to add our stay to our member profile was malfunctioning at checkout. While the hotel might be convenient for a brief stay before a flight, it utterly fails in terms of service and amenities.

I would rate this place between average and good. it is terribly basic with small room, but it is clean and tidy. staff were attentive. a few things let it down...one was the fact that there was no kettle / cups for tea or coffee in the room...nearby hampton does provide these. it mentions soundproof rooms, but the aircraft were noisy, not that it bothered me as i already live near an airport. but there was also considerable thumping and banging either from overhead or the adjoining room. one thing that worried me was the fact that the property is built on a relatively liquid marsh...at one stage in the evening, there was a slammed door or similar elsewhere in the building, and the buildinf shook quite noticably. as a retired building inspector, i can only hope the property is well underpinned ! breakfast had a limited but good array. and all credit to the hotel for requesting users of the buffet to wear plastic gloves. first time that i had seen this. another reviewer mentioned getting a welcome drink....we didnt get one . sadly, if staying in halbergmoos again, i would plump for the nearby hampton !

We were just there for the night before catching an early morning flight. The woman who greeted us was super helpful. She arranged for the airport shuttle to pick us up at 5AM and recommended a few restaurants. They were not nearby but a 1/2 hour walk thru a green space. It was actually great to walk in the middle of sitting for so long. The walk was nice (use Google Maps rather than her paper map) and the food at the Indian restaurant was really good. The hotel is nothing fancy, but all in all a very positive experience.

The IBIS is a typical IBIS, OK room, small with a good bed, a small desk, hardly any room to put a bigger suitcase and a adequate bathroom. The restaurant is OK but certainly not exceptional and so is the breakfast. Staff seem to change fairly often and even though you stay with them more often, only very few seem to recognize you as a returning guest. They do however always have your welcome pack (drink and good Wi-Fi) ready upon arrival.
