From check in, where Lisa warmly welcomed us back, until our final check out when seh looked forward to our next visit, the Kenwood Hall experience was great.

From arrival, the hotel made everything easy and child friendly! There was a lovely , welcoming little VIP check in for my 6 year old, with an activity pack. The suite is fantastic, breakfast has so much choice and the pool is perfect. Love this hotel!

We were moved to this hotel after our original booked hotel was closed. We found this hotel in a much better location and was very reasonably priced. We had a lovely weekend stay and found all the staff very friendly and helpful, would definitely book again.

Just had an overnight stay with my daughter for a friend's wedding. The wedding was wonderful, lovely setting and ticked all the boxes for us. The accomodation sadly let the weekend down a little, having booked with the plan to stay overnight and enjoy the leisure facilities the day after as a bit of a 'pamper' day and a touch of recovery from the busy day before, to find out on arrival that those facilities were no longer available as they were to close for the week for renovation. It would have been so helpful to have known this beforehand as we had come with all our swimwear alongside having to rearrange the travel arrangements for the day afterwards as were no longer able to incorporate what we had hoped was some much needed pamper time. For the cost of the room, I would say it felt and looked tired, I've stayed in other 'popular' hotels that had so much more quality and a better vibe with more value for your money. Decor dull, bathrooms although clean just lacking...the tap was horrendously noisy when switched on and either was all or nothing where at times it just sprayed me directly when attempting to switch on. The shower head was set so high I couldn't manoever it down to a suitable level (at 1am in the morning wasn't planning to wash my hair!) so finished up holding it in my hand whilst attempting to shower. Turning it all off was a challenge as it dripped from either the tall shower head or the lower end...got there in the end, or so I thought until the shower started dripping again at 6am in the morning, had to throw a towel in the bath so I didn't hear the sound. The other very frustrating thing for us was lack of plugs by the bed. We have to rely on a sleep apnea machine. I spotted what I thought was a 3 pin socket on arrival behind the chair by the bed so assumed when we got back to the room for sleep purposes after midnight we would be good to go. But no, they were the most strangest sockets I've seen, so no plugging in there. Had to rearrange the furniture a little to allow it to be connected on the opposite side of the wall. Not what I needed at that time of night. Breakfast was ok, a reasonable amount of options, as a coeliac it was really positive to see they had a separate breakfast station with a separate toaster. Two cereal options, a muffin and individual sliced bread in a pack. There wasn't much there on the racks so looked quite bare, just could have done with it being topped up! Really impressed that the staff though automatically offered to have the chef prepare fresh food to avoid contamination. Staff are very polite too and we loved the outside area.....the rooms just so need a refurb to bring it up to a standard I feel and communication re the leisure facilities should have happened. Have to say for the cost and the plans I'd made I felt a little short changed! Am I likely to stay there again, probably not... but it might have just been us who just had an unlucky night ☺️!
